Swedes
Swedes ( sv, svenskar) are a North Germanic ethnic group native to the Nordic region, primarily their nation state of Sweden, who share a common ancestry, culture, history and language. They mostly inhabit Sweden and the other Nordic countries, in particular Finland where they are an officially recognized minority, with a substantial diaspora in other countries, especially the United States. Etymology The English term "Swede" has been attested in English since the late 16th century and is of Middle Dutch or Middle Low German origin. In Swedish, the term is ''svensk'', which is from the name of '' svear'' (or Swedes), the people who inhabited Svealand in eastern central Sweden, and were listed as ''Suiones'' in Tacitus' history '' Germania'' from the first century AD. The term is believed to have been derived from the Proto-Indo-European reflexive pronominal root, , as the Latin ''suus''. The word must have meant "one's own (tribesmen)". The same root and original mean ...

Actor
An actor or actress is a person who portrays a character in a performance. The actor performs "in the flesh" in the traditional medium of the theatre or in modern media such as film, radio, and television. The analogous Greek term is (), literally "one who answers".''Hypokrites'' (related to our word for hypocrite) also means, less often, "to answer" the tragic chorus. See Weimann (1978, 2); see also Csapo and Slater, who offer translations of classical source material using the term ''hypocrisis'' ( acting) (1994, 257, 265–267). The actor's interpretation of a rolethe art of actingpertains to the role played, whether based on a real person or fictional character. This can also be considered an "actor's role," which was called this due to scrolls being used in the theaters. Interpretation occurs even when the actor is "playing themselves", as in some forms of experimental performance art. Formerly, in ancient Greece and the medieval world, and in England at the time of ...

Children's Television Series
Children's television series (or children's television shows) are television programs designed for children, normally scheduled for broadcast during the morning and afternoon when children are awake. They can sometimes run during the early evening, allowing younger children to watch them after school. The purpose of these shows is mainly to entertain or educate. The children's series are in four categories: those aimed at infants and toddlers, those aimed at those aged 6 to 11 years old, those for adolescents and those aimed at all children. History Children's television is nearly as old as television itself. The BBC's ''Children's Hour'', broadcast in the UK in 1946, is generally credited with being the first TV programme specifically for children. Television for children tended to originate from similar programs on radio; the BBC's '' Children's Hour'' was launched in 1922, and BBC School Radio began broadcasting in 1924. In the US in the early 1930s, adventure serials such as ...

Björnes Magasin
Björnes magasin ("Björne's storage") was a Swedish children's TV program broadcast by SVT between 31 August 1987–29 August 2004. It was produced and created by Kerstin Hedberg and Anita Bäckström. The idea likely came from the Danish children's TV program " Bamses Billedbog" (first broadcast on 16 September 1982 and still in production) and on that background you can call it the Swedish version of "Bamses Billedbog". This program is about the teddy bear Björne, played by Jörgen Lantz (until 2001) and Pontus Gustafsson (from 2002). Other actors who have appeared as Björne's "guests" in the program include Robert Gustafsson, Eva Funck, Vanna Rosenberg, Anders Linder, Carl-Einar Häckner, Johan Ulveson and Anders Lundin. Together they often watch children's TV programs, which allowed the main programme to also function as a frame story. In 2006 ''Björnes magasin'' and '' Hjärnkontoret'' were voted as the 2nd best children's TV program (after ''Fem myror är fle ...

Charlie Strap And Froggy Ball Flying High
''Charlie Strapp and Froggy Ball Flying High'' ( sv, Kalle Stropp och Grodan Boll på svindlande äventyr) is a 1991 Swedish animated feature film directed by Jan Gissberg after an original script by Thomas Funck, using Funck's already well-established characters. It follows a shorter film made by the same team in 1987, ''Kalle Stropp och Grodan Boll räddar Hönan''. This is the first time since before 1954 where a Kalle Stropp production features voice acting by others than only Funck himself, only with the exception of children that had participated in other productions as well. It was dubbed into English by Filmor and Cinélume in 1998 and was only released in Canada straight-to-video under the name ''Charlie and Froggy'' from Alliance Films. The majority of the characters' names were changed and four minutes of footage were removed. Plot Something strange has been spotted over the treetops in the forest where Charlie Strapp and Froggy Ball live, and Tin-Can Harry quickl ...
