Juma Abdalla Oris (died in March 2001) was a Ugandan military officer and government minister under the dictatorship of Idi Amin. After fleeing his country during the Uganda–Tanzania War, he became leader of the West Nile Bank Front (WNBF), a rebel group active in the West Nile region of Uganda during the 1990s. Biography Juma Abdalla Oris was born in northern Uganda, or Nimule in southern Sudan. He was an ethnic Madi and/or Nubian, as well as a Muslim. Oris received only minimal education, and eventually joined the Uganda Army, becoming a high-ranking colonel by the early 1970s. Following the 1971 Ugandan coup d'état, he rose to one of the leading figures in Idi Amin's government. Dr Juma Alifa Ngasongwa (born 13 August 1941 in Ngombo in Ulanga District) is a Tanzanian politician who served as Chama Cha Mapinduzi Member of Parliament for Ulanga Magharibi in the National Assembly of Tanzania. Ngasongwa grew up in Biro in Malinyi a ward of Ulanga district in Tanzania, and graduated from the University of Suchdol, Prague, Czechoslovakia, in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Juma Nature a.k.a. Sir Nature (born ''Juma Kassim Ally'', in 1980) is a Tanzanian hip hop recording artist and record producer. He is the founder and member of a Temeke group called Wanaume, an informal group of rappers from the temeke side of Dar es Salaam. Juma Volter Mwapachu (born 27 September 1942 in Mwanza, Tanzania) is a Tanzanian politician and former Secretary General of the East African Community. He replaced Amanya Mushega of Uganda who completed his five-year term on March 24, 2006. Background Mwapachu was nominated for the post by Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete. Jum'a-Mohammad Mohammadi was the Afghan Minister for Mines and Industries under the Afghan Transitional Administration. He died in a plane crash on February 24, 2003 while returning from a mission in Pakistan to learn techniques in copper mining. He was in his late 60s. Mohammadi had served in Afghanistan in the 1970s as water and power minister under president Mohammad Daoud. Juma Khan
Juma Khan, an ethnic Baluch from Afghanistan's Nimroz Province, is a drug lord with links to the Taliban. Juma Khan was an illiterate provincial drug smuggler from southwestern Afghanistan in the 1990s. He suddenly rose to national prominence after the American-led invasion of Afghanistan. He was briefly detained by American forces after the 2001 fall of the Taliban and released, even though American officials knew that he was involved in narcotics trafficking. After being released, he inexplicably seized control of the town of Bahramcha in the Chagai Hills on the Pakistan-Iran-Afghanistan border in late 2001 and turned it into a hub of drug smuggling and gun running into Pakistan and Iran.
