Julian Khazzouh
Julian Khazzouh (born 23 February 1986) is a Lebanese-Australian former professional basketball player. He played in Australia, the Netherlands, Israel, and Lebanon. Early life and career Born in Melbourne, Khazzouh moved to Sydney as a child and attended Oakhill College in the suburb of Castle Hill, New South Wales, Castle Hill. He played rugby league as a youth before taking up basketball at age 13. At age 18, Khazzouh was discovered by the New South Wales Institute of Sport, NSW Institute of Sport after he earned a NSW Combined Independent Schools Sports Council major basketball award in 2004 while attending Oakhill College. Later that year, he signed with the Sydney Spirit, West Sydney Razorbacks as a development player for the 2004–05 NBL season. Sydney Kings
The Sydney Kings are an Australian men's professional basketball team competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). The team is based in Sydney, New South Wales. The Kings were formed from a merger between the West Sydney Westars and the Sydney Supersonics in October 1987. NBL (Australia) Most Valuable Player
The National Basketball League Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) is an annual National Basketball League (NBL) award given since the league's inaugural season to the best performing player of the regular season. Throughout the year, coaching staff from each team vote on the best performing players in every game, using a 5-4-3-2-1 system at the completion of each match. The votes are collated and the individual with the most votes at the end of the regular season is awarded the Most Valuable Player. The winner receives the Andrew Gaze Trophy, which is named in honour of Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze, a seven-time winner of the NBL MVP award. The 2010–11 NBL season was the 33rd season of competition since its establishment in 1979. A total of nine teams contested the league. The regular season was played between October 2010 and April 2011, followed by a post-season involving the top four. Liam Rush (born 29 January 1982) is an Australian former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his 15-year career playing in the Australian National Basketball League and Swedish Basketligan. In Sweden, he helped Sundsvall Dragons win championships in 2009 and 2011. Early life Rush was born in Broome, Western Australia. Joe Ingles
Joseph Howarth Ingles (born 2 October 1987) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also represents the Australian national team. He primarily plays at the small forward position. He is the Utah Jazz all-time leader in three-pointers made. Ingles was part of the Australian basketball team that won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The NBL1 East, formerly the Waratah League, is a semi-professional basketball league in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, comprising both a men's and women's competition.
