Jula (singer)
Jula (born Julita Ratowska, ''primo voto'' Julita Fabiszewska, 3 March 1991 in Łomża) is a Polish singer and songwriter. Known for her hits "Za każdym razem", "Nie zatrzymasz mnie" and "Kiedyś odnajdziemy siebie". Her debut album, ''Na krawędzi'' was released August 14, 2012. Career She gained popularity due to her amateur musical recordings published on the internet. "Za każdym razem" was recorded at home, gained more than a million viewers. The professionally recorded single music was composed by Adi Owsianik, leader of Rotten Bark. In 2012, Jula was awarded from the radio listeners of RMF MAXXX, at the festival TOPtrendy 2012 Trends in concert. On 2 June of the same year with the song "Za każdym razem" she performed at the concert Prime Minister on 49th Festival of Opole in Opole. Łomża
Łomża (), in English known as Lomza, is a city in north-eastern Poland, approximately 150 kilometers (90 miles) to the north-east of Warsaw and west of Białystok. It is situated alongside the Narew river as part of the Podlaskie Voivodeship since 1999. Previously, it was the capital of the Łomża Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. It is the capital of Łomża County and has been the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Łomża since 1925. Polish names have two main elements: the given name, and the surname. The usage of personal names in Poland is generally governed by civil law, church law, personal taste and family custom. The law requires a given name to indicate the person's gender. Almost all Polish female names end in a vowel ''-a'', and most male names end in a consonant or a vowel other than ''a''. The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (also known as the KCAs or Kids' Choice) is an annual American children's awards ceremony show that is produced by Nickelodeon. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. The other was a top 100 called Gorąca Setka (English: Hot 100), printed monthly in ''Gazeta Muzyczna''. This chart was compiled from actual sale figures as reported by over 130 music shops across Poland and included both albums and singles.
