José Irízar
José Marcelino Yrízar Urbizu (5 October 1882 - 23 March 1935), better known as José Irízar was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Athletic Club and FC Barcelona. Although he always appeared as Irizar in the sports press, on his baptismal and death certificates his surname is written with a y. Club career Born in Bilbao, he began his career in 1903 with his hometown club Athletic Club. In the 1904 Copa del Rey Final, Athletic were declared winners after their opponents, Club Español de Madrid, failed to turn up. He was then a fundamental piece in the Athletic side that reached the final of the Copa del Rey three times in a row between 1905 and 1907, however, they all ended in losses at the hands of Madrid FC. He then joined X Sporting Club, where he formed a great defensive partnership with Santiago Massana and goalkeeper Pedro Gibert, winning two Catalan championships in 1907 and 1908. The Catalan football championship ''(Campionat de Catalunya)'' was a football competition in Catalonia and the first football league in Spain before La Liga was established in 1929. In December 1900, Alfons Macaya, the president of Hispania AC, offered a trophy (the Copa Macaya) to be contested by several football teams from Spain. Real Sociedad Gimnástica Española (RSGE), also known as Gimnástica de Madrid, was a sports club based in Madrid, Spain. It was officially founded as an amateur sports, amateur gymnastics club on 2 March 1887 by Narciso Masferrer under the name "Sociedad Gimnástica Española". The 1913 Copa del Rey comprised two different competitions held the same year. Due to disagreements between the Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol, RFEF) and some clubs, in 1913 two parallel competitions were held: an "official", organized by the FEF (Federación Española de Fútbol), in Madrid and an "unofficial", organized by the UECF (Unión Española de Clubes de Fútbol), in Barcelona. 1912 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1912 was the eleventh staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition started on 31 March 1912, and concluded on 12 April 1912, with the final, held at the Industria Stadium in Barcelona, in which FC Barcelona lifted the trophy for the second time ever after a 2–0 victory over Sociedad Gimnástica thanks to goals from Alfredo Massana, Pepe Rodríguez. Enrique Peris
Enrique Peris de Vargas (27 February 1887 - 17 February 1953) was a Spanish footballer who played as a left winger. He spent most of his career at Barcelona, with whom he played over 300 matches. Club career Born in Barcelona, he began his career in 1903 at FC Internacional. Together with Paco Bru and Charles Wallace, he helped the club achieve three successive runner-up finishes in the Catalan championship between 1904 and 1906, losing out on the title to a different opponent each time, Club Español (now RCD Espanyol) FC Barcelona and X Sporting Club respectively.
