Jon St. John
Jon St. John (born December 19, 1960) is an American voice actor, former radio personality and ordained minister. He is best known for his voice roles such as Duke Nukem in the ''Duke Nukem'' video game series and Big the Cat and E-123 Omega in the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game franchise. Career He started his career in voice work in 1975, when he was a Top 40 radio DJ in North Carolina. Because of his vocal talent and technical skills, he was hired as a production director for several US radio stations in cities including: New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, and Los Angeles. St. John was a radio personality for many years most recently on K-EARTH 101 in Los Angeles. He has provided the voice for numerous video game characters, such as the voice for the drill instructor Dwight T. Barnes as well as various other Marines in '' Half-Life: Opposing Force''. 3D Realms Entertainment ApS is a video game publisher based in Aalborg, Denmark. Scott Miller (entrepreneur), Scott Miller founded the company in his parents' home in Garland, Texas, in 1987 as Apogee Software Productions to release his game ''Kroz, Kingdom of Kroz''. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the company popularized a distribution model where each game consists of three episodes, with the first given away free as shareware and the other two available for purchase. ''Duke Nukem'' was a major franchise created by Apogee to use this model, and Apogee published Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D the same way. Todd Jason Replogle (born 1969) is an American video game programmer best known as the co-creator of the ''Duke Nukem'' series. He wrote six 2D action games for MS-DOS released as shareware by Apogee Software between 1990 and 1993. This included ''Duke Nukem'' and ''Duke Nukem II'', which were side-scrolling platform games. Replogle worked as a programmer on a team of developers for ''Duke Nukem 3D'', published in 1996. One of the first major 2.5D games following ''Doom'', it used the Build engine by Ken Silverman. After ''Duke Nukem 3D'', Replogle started some technical experimentation into what would later become ''Duke Nukem Forever''. He retired from the gaming industry in 1997. ''Chrome'' is a 2003 first-person shooter video game developed by Techland and published by Gathering of Developers in Europe and Strategy First in North America. It was re-released with additional levels in 2004 as ''Advanced Battlegrounds: The Future of Combat'' (in some countries called ''Chrome: Gold Edition''). A prequel, ''Chrome SpecForce'', was released in 2005.
