Jon Rheault
Jonathan Williamson Rheault (born August 1, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey player who last played for the Nottingham Panthers in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Rheault was born in Arlington, Texas, but grew up in Deering, New Hampshire. Playing career Raised in Deering, New Hampshire, Rheault attended Providence College from 2004 to 2008 and was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 5th round (145th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Coming out of college, he played his first games as a professional hockey player with AHL's Manchester Monarchs. He also spent time with the Ontario Reign of the East Coast Hockey League and on June 16, 2010, he was signed as a free agent by the Abbotsford Heat. The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). Boston Pride
The Boston Pride are a professional women's ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They are one of the four charter franchises of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), formerly the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL; 2015–2021). Jenna Rheault (born June 6, 1996) is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing for the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation. Career During high school, she played for St. Paul's School, winning a NEPSAC championship and being awarded the ISL Award of Excellence. At St. Paul's, she also captained the girls' soccer team and played for the school's softball team. From 2015 to 2019, she attended the University of New Hampshire, scoring a total of 24 points in 142 NCAA games. The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. 2015 Spengler Cup
The 2015 Spengler Cup was an ice hockey competition held in Davos, Switzerland from December 26 to December 31, 2015. All matches were played at HC Davos's home known as Vaillant Arena. Six competing teams were split into two groups of three (in the round-robin series). Champions Hockey League
The Champions Hockey League is a European first-level ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams across Europe. Background The IIHF launched a tournament with the same name in 2008 to coincide with the IIHF's 100th anniversary. The tournament's only season was played between 8 October 2008 and 28 January 2009, and was won by the ZSC Lions who got to play in the 2009 Victoria Cup game as a result. The IIHF planned to launch another season but was ultimately forced to cancel the tournament due to problems finding sponsors during the concurrent global economic crisis and failure to agree on a tournament format.
