2015 Spengler Cup
The 2015 Spengler Cup was an ice hockey competition held in Davos, Switzerland from December 26 to December 31, 2015. All matches were played at HC Davos's home known as Vaillant Arena. Six competing teams were split into two groups of three (in the round-robin series). The two groups, named Torriani and Cattini, are named after legendary Swiss hockey players Richard 'Bibi' Torriani and the Cattini brothers, Hans and Ferdinand. Adler Mannheim
The Adler Mannheim (English: ''Mannheim Eagles'', formerly Mannheimer ERC) is a professional ice hockey team of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the highest-level ice hockey league in Germany. The team is based in Mannheim, a city in the northern part of Baden-Württemberg. Currently, the team plays at SAP Arena, where they moved to at the beginning of the 2005–06 season after having played at Eisstadion am Friedrichspark for nearly seven decades from 1938 through 2005. They have won the German Championship a total of eight times, seven of those coming after 1994 in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Glen Metropolit
Glen David Metropolit (born June 25, 1974) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who most notably played over 400 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) Playing career Early years A native of Toronto, Ontario, Metropolit was never drafted by an OHL or NHL team, yet managed a 10-year NHL career and 407 games played. After a GTHL career mostly in AA hockey, Metropolit played two seasons for the Richmond Hill Riots Jr.B. hockey club (OHA) before heading west to play for the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL. After graduating Tier II Jr.A. hockey, Metropolit started out playing for the Nashville Knights in the ECHL in the 1995–96 season. Brent Raedeke
Brent Raedeke (born May 29, 1990) is a Canadian-German professional ice hockey player who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played center for the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career He previously played with the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League while under contract to the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. An empty net goal, abbreviated as EN or ENG and colloquially called an empty netter, occurs in several team sports when a team scores a goal into a net with no goaltender ''(goalie)'' present. Tony Mårtensson
Tony Hans Mårtensson (born June 23, 1980) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey center. He was born in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. Playing career Mårtensson was drafted by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft in the 7th round as the 224th pick overall. Grégory Hofmann (born November 13, 1992) is a Swiss professional ice hockey forward who is currently under contract to EV Zug of the National League (NL). Hofmann was drafted in the third round, 103rd overall, by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. John Fredrik Michael Pettersson (born June 10, 1987) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey right winger. He last played for the ZSC Lions in the National League (NL). Dennis Endras
Dennis Endras (born 14 July 1985) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing with Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Playing career Endras began playing for EHC Bayreuth in the Oberliga, the third-tier of ice hockey in Germany, in 2003–04. He played for Bayreuth again in 2004–05, but also made his Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) debut that season with the Augsburger Panther.
