John Liley
John Garin Liley (born 21 August 1967) is an English former rugby union player. A full back who played 230 games for Leicester Tigers from 1988 to 1997 scoring 2,518 points, the second most of all time, he also toured with England but did not play in a test match. Career Liley was born in Wakefield, and joined Leicester from Wakefield RFC. He made his Leicester debut as a replacement against Orrell on 8 October 1988 at Welford Road. His first season overlapped the last season of Dusty Hare which limited Liley to only 4 starts and one further appearance from the bench. Liley was the first choice full back for Leicester's pre-season tour to Colorado, United States, in 1989 scoring a hat-trick of tries against Vail and scoring 8 points as Tigers lost to the USA national side. Bob Dwyer
Bob Dwyer AM (born 29 November 1940) is an Australian rugby union coach. Early life Educated at Sydney Boys High School, graduating in 1957, where he played 2nd XV for the school where he played alongside former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks player George Taylforth and St. George Dragons halfback George Evans. Career Dwyer coached Sydney club Randwick to four Sydney championship wins before becoming Australia's national team coach. He coached Australia from 1982–83, and again from 1988-95. He coached Australia to victory at the 1991 Rugby World Cup. Dwyer moved to Leicester Tigers after the game turned professional in 1996 and replaced Tony Russ. Club Athlétique Brive Corrèze Limousin, also referred to as CA Brive, Brive () or CAB, is a French professional rugby union club based in Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the Corrèze department. 1997 Heineken Cup Final
The 1997 Heineken Cup Final was the final match of the 1996–97 Heineken Cup, the second season of Europe's top club rugby union competition. The match was played on 25 January 1997 at the Arms Park in Cardiff. The match was contested by Brive of France and Leicester of England. Brive won the match 28–9; they took the lead early on through a fourth-minute penalty from Christophe Lamaison, and Sébastien Viars extended that lead with an unconverted try two minutes later. Leicester responded with three penalties from John Liley, but Brive finally made their pressure show with three second-half tries, one of which was converted, before Lamaison added a drop goal to seal a 19-point victory. Tim Stimpson
Timothy Richard George Stimpson (born 10 September 1973 in Liverpool) is a former rugby union international full back (and occasional wing). During his career he played for Wakefield, West Hartlepool, Newcastle Falcons, Leicester Tigers, Perpignan, Leeds Tykes and Nottingham, England and the British and Irish Lions. His international career was a start-stop affair, however, he excelled at club level.
