Smoke Hollow is an American rock band formed in 2015. In 2017, the ensemble released their debut studio album entitled'' Salvation''. History In July 2015, a rock band was started by bass guitarist John Exall, formerly of Texas Hippie Coalition, lead guitarist Diego "Ashes" Ibarra from Static-X, vocalist Jason "Dewey" Bragg from Kill Devil Hill, and drummer Ralf Mueggler from Crowned by Fire. Soon after the band was started, Jason Williams of American heavy metal band Delphian replaced Ibarra. In August 2015, the band began an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to assist with the recording of their debut album. Texas Hippie Coalition (sometimes stylized THC) is an American heavy metal band from Denison, Texas. History The band was formed in Denison, Texas by Big Dad Ritch, along with his friend John Exall and other friends. Several lineup changes occurred before, ''Rollin'', with producer Dave Prater. ''Rollin'' arrived on July 6, 2010, which was their first national release. In early 2012 the group began working with producer Bob Marlette. Their first single " Turn It Up" was released in June of that same year. ''Peacemaker'' was released on August 14, 2012, and was ranked 20 on '' Billboard'' Hard Rock Albums. In February 2014, it was announced that '' Ride On'', the fourth studio album from the quartet is expected to be released October 7, 2014. Static-X is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. The line-up has fluctuated over the years, but was long-held constant with band founder, frontman, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Wayne Static until his death in 2014. The band was founded by Wayne Static and original drummer Ken Jay. They rose to fame with their 1999 debut album '' Wisconsin Death Trip'' where their heavy industrial metal sound attracted attention within the burgeoning nu metal movement of the late 1990s, with the album eventually going platinum in the United States. Kill Devil Hill is an American rock supergroup, founded in 2011 by drummer Vinny Appice (former Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and Dio), bassist Rex Brown (former Pantera and Down), guitarist Mark Zavon (former 40 Cycle Hum), and lead vocalist Dewey Bragg. The band is named after the town of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, a location renowned from pirating days. The band's sound has been described as "heavy and modern without succumbing to typical contemporary hardcore trappings – indecipherable vocals or overused blast beats."
