John Bryant (basketball)
John Bryant (born June 13, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for Mitteldeutscher BC of the Basketball Bundesliga. Bryant was the 2009 West Coast Conference player of the year and an All-American as a senior at Santa Clara University. College career Bryant, a 6'11" center from Pinole Valley High School in Pinole, California, played for the Santa Clara Broncos from 2005 to 2009. Bryant earned the Broncos starting center spot during his freshman year – averaging 6.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game and earning a spot on the West Coast Conference (WCC) all-freshman team. He followed this up with a solid sophomore campaign, raising his averages to 10.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.SCU biography

The West Coast Conference (WCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the most outstanding men's basketball player in the West Coast Conference. The award was first given following the conference's inaugural 1952–53 season, when it was known as the California Basketball Association. 2012–13 Eurocup Basketball was the 11th edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one level below the EuroLeague. The winner of this competition earned a place at the group stage of the next season's EuroLeague. In this edition, semifinals were played in home-and-away series, and the final in a single game. Eurocup Qualifying Rounds were deleted. The final game was played at Spiroudome in Charleroi, Belgium. The Basketball Bundesliga 2014–15 was the 49th season of the Basketball Bundesliga. The regular season started on 2 October 2014 and ended on 3 May 2015. The Playoffs started on 9 May and ended on 21 June 2015. Brose Baskets was the top seed in the regular season. The team also won the title, after it beat Bayern Munich 3–2 in the Finals. TBB Trier and Crailsheim Merlins finished in the relegation places, but due to Artland Dragons withdrawing from the Bundesliga, Crailsheim accepted an offer to remain in the Bundesliga for 2015–16.
