Johi, Dadu
Johi ( sd, جوهي) is a town of Dadu District, Sindh province, Pakistan which is located between Balochistan and the Sindh province border. Johi town is also Taluka of Dadu District. A civil hospital is also in Johi. Johi is commonly known as the historical area and has many villages like Haji Khan Hairo Khan, Bazmaal Khoso, Drigh Bala, Rajaghanda and many similar villages. It has many visiting places people here depend on the rain water and do crops as land is very rich in minerals. The ancient place of Ghazi Shah Mound is located near Johi towards west-south.The Buddhist monument Thul Hairo Khan is towards its north-west. Dadu District
Dadu District ( sd, ضلعو دادو), ( ur, ) is a district of Sindh Province, Pakistan. With headquarters the city of Dadu, the district was created in 1931 by merging Kotri and Mahal Kohistan (later Jamshoro) tehsils from Karachi District and Mehar, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Dadu, Johi and Sehwan tehsils from Larkana District. In 2004, several talukas in the south were split off to create the new Jamshoro District. Its boundary touches with four districts of Sindh i.e. Jamshoro, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad and Kamber Shahdadkot. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census, Dadu district had a population of 1,550,390, of which 795,700 were males and 754,480 were females. The rural population was 1,166,984 (75.27%) and urban 383,406 (24.72%). The literacy rate is 47.26%: 57.92% for males and 36.02% for females. Thul Hairo Khan
The Thul Hairo Khan ( Sindhi: ٺلھ هيرو خان) is a Buddhist stupa, built possibly between the 5th and 7th centuries CE near the modern-day town of Johi, in Sindh, Pakistan. It is constructed with baked and unbaked bricks fixed with a material made from mud mixed water. The stupa is 50 feet high and 30 feet wide in size. The stair from the north side of the stupa leads to its top. The stupa has an arched tunnel at the ground level which crosses from north to south. It is believed that stupas like Hairo Khan were built in Sindh between the 5th and 7th centuries CE. Thul of Hairo Khan appears to be series of discovered in other regions of Sindh. Kirthar Mountains
The Kirthar Mountains ( ur, كوه کھیرتھر; sd, کير ٿر جبل) are a mountain range that mark the boundary between the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan and Sindh, and which comprise much of the Kirthar National Park. The mountain range forms part of the Kirthar- Sulaiman geologic province, which stretches from the Arabian Sea coast north to the Sulaiman Mountains in northwest Pakistan.
