Johan Hilton
Johan Niklas Börje Hilton (born "Friberg", May 31, 1977), is a Swedish journalist and author. Background Hilton has been a recurring broadcaster on Sveriges Radio P1 and P3, including programmes such as ''Kvällspasset'' and ''Hilton in P1''. He has, as a cultural journalist and theater critic, previously been active on the website ''Nummer''. Between 2008 and 2012 he was deputy culture manager of ''Expressen'' and was also their literary and theater editor. In 2012 he took over as manager of Arenagruppens publisher Atlas. In January 2016 Hilton left Atlas to instead work as editor and theater criticer at Dagens Nyheter. Hilton's book ''No Tears for Queers'' , a crime reportage about hate crime, including the Matthew Shepard case, was awarded the Book of the Year at Gaygalan 2005 and the Year's Reading of the Nöjesguiden the same year. Borås
Borås ( , , ) is a city (officially, a locality) and the seat of Borås Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 66,273 inhabitants in 2010. Geography Borås is located at the point of two crossing railways, among them the railway between Gothenburg and Kalmar, and is often considered the Swedish city gaining the most from the nationwide railway system laid between 1870 and 1910. History The city of Borås received its privileges in 1621 by King Gustav II Adolf. ''På spåret'' (''On the Track'') is a popular Swedish TV game show series broadcast on SVT since 5 September 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly half of all Swedes saw the game show. August Prize
The August Prize ( sv, Augustpriset) is an annual Swedish literary prize awarded each year since 1989 by the Swedish Publishers' Association. The prize is awarded to the best Swedish book of the year, in three categories. Prize In the years 1989-1992, the prize was awarded in one general category. Since 1992, the prize has been awarded in the categories Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Children's and Youth Literature. The prize is named after the writer August Strindberg. Selection All Swedish publishers may submit nominations for the award. In each category, a jury shortlists six titles each. These titles are then read and voted on by an assembly of 63 electors, 21 in each category. The electors come from across the country, and comprise booksellers, librarians and literary critics. Norman Bates
Norman Bates is a fictional character created by American author Robert Bloch as the main antagonist in his 1959 thriller novel '' Psycho''. He has an alter, Mother, who takes from the form of his abusive mother, and later victim, Norma, who in his daily life runs the Bates Motel. He was portrayed by Anthony Perkins in the 1960 version of ''Psycho'' directed by Alfred Hitchcock and in the ''Psycho'' franchise. He was also portrayed by Vince Vaughn in the 1998 version of ''Psycho'', and by Freddie Highmore in the television series '' Bates Motel'' (2013–2017). Riksteatern is the name of the popular ''"National Touring Theatre"/"National Theatre Company"'' (~Eng. transl.) in Sweden. It's the biggest theatre company on tour in Sweden and can, in one way, almost be described as Sweden's national stage on tour.
