Johan Davidsson
Johan Markus Davidsson (born January 6, 1976) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player, who played last with HV71 in the Swedish elite league Elitserien. He was a long-time Elitserien player and captain of HV71, with which he has won the Swedish championship four times. Playing career Davidsson wears jersey number 76 and is the captain of HV71. In 2005 Davidsson renewed his contract with HV71 until the end of season 2009–10. He is regarded as an able skater with a good eye for the game and is as good as a playmaker as a scorer. He has got fine puck control but lacks the physical aspects of the game to fit in NHL. Lance Ward
Lance Ward (born June 2, 1978) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He holds the current Elitserien record for most penalty minutes during one season. Playing career Born in Lloydminster, Alberta, Ward was originally drafted 10th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, but he re-entered the draft and was selected 63rd overall by the Florida Panthers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Ward has played 209 career NHL games, scoring 4 goals and 12 assists for 16 points, and 391 penalty minutes. During the 2004–05 NHL lockout Ward did not play. Ward signed a one-year contract on June 5, 2006, with the Swedish Elitserien club HV71 from Jönköping. Lester Pearson Award
The Ted Lindsay Award, formerly known as the Lester B. Pearson Award, is awarded annually to the National Hockey League's most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL Players' Association. First awarded in 1971, it is a companion to the Hart Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the League's Most Valuable Player, as judged by members of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association. Kontinental Hockey League
The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; russian: Континентальная хоккейная лига (КХЛ), Kontinental'naya khokkeynaya liga) is an international professional ice hockey league founded in 2008. Alexei Morozov
Alexei Alekseyevich Morozov (russian: Алексей Алексе́евич Морозов; born 16 February 1977) is the president of the Kontinental Hockey League and a Russian former professional ice hockey player. He played professional hockey with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League (NHL) and in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with Ak Bars Kazan and CSKA Moscow. The Russian men's national ice hockey team (russian: Сборная России по хоккею с шайбой) is the national men's ice hockey team of Russia, overseen by the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia. The Czech Republic men's national ice hockey team is the national ice hockey team of the Czech Republic.
