Jincheng Township () is an urban township on the southwestern corner of the island of Kinmen (Quemoy). It is the county seat of Kinmen County, Fujian Province, Republic of China (Taiwan). Jincheng was the seat of the ROC's Fukien Province from 1949–1956 and 1996–2019. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau. Kinmen, alternatively known as Quemoy, is a group of islands governed as a county by the Republic of China (Taiwan), off the southeastern coast of mainland China. Jincheng is a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Shanxi province, China, bordering Henan province to the south and southeast. It is an industrial city in an area where coal mining is an important industry. The entire city has a population of 2.2 million.
