Jimmy Nah
Jimmy Nah(; (13 April 1967 – 4 January 2008), better known by his nickname "MC King", was a Singaporean comedian and actor. He died of heart and lung failure at the age of 40. Early life and career Nah entered the entertainment industry in 1990 after completing the SBC drama training course. He made his debut in a drama series titled ''Friends Next Door''. He played a character who was perennially on leave, thus earning him his nickname. Nah also hosted ''Comedy Nite'' along with Jack Neo, Moses Lim and Mark Lee, and acted in a couple of local movies, including Jack Neo's ''I Not Stupid'', ''Homerun'' and ''I Not Stupid Too'', as well as a number of local drama serials. He was also a guest star in ''Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd'' as Angel 1. Death On the morning of 4 January 2008, Nah was rushed to hospital after he experienced breathing difficulties while at home near Old Airport Road. Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium is a crematorium and columbarium complex located at Mandai Road in Mandai, Singapore. The complex is operated by the Government of Singapore under the National Environment Agency. It is one of two government crematoria in Singapore, the other being the Choa Chu Kang Columbarium. Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium is located not far from Yishun New Town. This complex is one of the final resting places for many Singaporeans because of the new technology and limited spaces to host cemeteries for the dead. History With Mount Vernon Crematorium, the only government crematorium reaching its maximum capacity in the late 1970s, a need for a second crematorium arose. Honour and Passion () was a Singaporean Chinese television drama series that aired on Mediacorp's Channel 8, and was sponsored by the Singapore Ministry of Defence. This series consisted of 20 episodes, and ran from 24 July 2007 to 20 August 2007. Meaning of title The series's Chinese title ("宝家卫国" meaning " hePoh family defends the country") is a play on the idiom " 保家卫国", which translates to "protect one's family, defend one's country". Rayson Tan (; born 12 January 1965) is a Singaporean actor. Career Before joining MediaCorp, Tan worked as a flight attendant with Singapore Airlines.
