Jet Lag (film)
''Jet Lag'' (french: Décalage Horaire) is a 2002 French romantic comedy film starring Juliette Binoche and Jean Reno. It is the second film directed by Danièle Thompson, following ''Season's Beatings'' (1999). Premise At Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, a French beautician (Juliette Binoche) on her way to a new job in Mexico accidentally meets a French chef (Jean Reno) who has been delayed on his way to Germany from his residence in the United States. Labor strikes, bad weather, and pure luck cause the two of them to share a room overnight at the airport Hilton hotel. Their initial mutual indifference and downright hostility evolves into romance and a re-examination of their lives. Danièle Thompson
Danièle Thompson (born 3 January 1942) is a Monegasque film director and screenwriter. Thompson is the daughter of film director Gérard Oury, and actress Jacqueline Roman. She has written screenplays for a number of highly successful films including ''Cousin, cousine'', ''La Boum'', ''Belphégor - Le fantôme du Louvre'', '' La Reine Margot'' and ''Jet Lag'', which she also directed. She was nominated for the 1976 Academy Award for Writing Original Screenplay for ''Cousin, cousine''. Her 2006 film, ''Fauteuils d'orchestre'' was France's entrant for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. She is half Jewish from her father, and was on the 1986 Cannes Film Festival jury. Nadège Beausson-Diagne (born 18 June 1972 in Paris) is a French actress, singer and columnist. She is mainly known for having played the police chief Sara Douala in the television series ''Plus belle la vie''. She also appeared in successful films such as ''Podium (film), Podium'' by Yann Moix and ''Nothing to Declare (film), Nothing to Declare'' [''Rien à déclarer''] by Dany Boon. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
