Jesper Kennegård
Jesper Theodor Kennegård (born 11 July 1988) is a Swedish professional golfer and Challenge Tour player. He won the Junior Golf World Cup in 2007 and the Nordic Golf League Order of Merit in 2013. Early life and amateur career Kennegård was born in 1988 and started playing golf at six. At six foot four, he has an imposing presence, like his father Stefan, who was a Swedish professional handballer with 24 appearances for the national team in the 1980s. Kennegård was low amateur at the 2006 Scandinavian Masters, finishing T27, and had a successful career with the National Team winning several team medals. He won bronze at the 2005 European Boys' Team Championship in Italy together with Nicklas Glans, Pontus Widegren, Björn Åkesson, Rasmus Åstrand and David Lingmerth. David Lingmerth
David Lingmerth (born 22 July 1987) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. Early life Lingmerth was born and grew up in Tranås in the province of Småland, Sweden, and is son of Thomas and Birgitta Lingmerth. He began playing golf at the local club, Tranås Golf Club, which he has represented through his career. Lingmerth won his age level category (15) at the unofficial Swedish Youth Championship, Bankboken Cup, at Falun-Borlänge Golf Club, one stroke ahead of Henrik Norlander, who also came to be a PGA Tour player. The St Andrews Trophy is a biennial men's team golf tournament contested between teams of amateur golfers representing Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It takes its name from St Andrews in Scotland. The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. Österåker Golf Club (Österåkers Golfklubb) is a golf club situated in Åkersberga 20 km northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. It has hosted the Compaq Open on the Ladies European Tour. History Opened in 1988 and co-designed by Sven Tumba and Jan Sederholm, the club was one of few in Sweden ambitious enough to build 36 holes at the outset. It hosted national and international tournaments throughout the 1990s. By 2015 the club worried it could not keep pace with the new championship courses built in the Stockholm metropolitan area. The 2010 European Amateur Team Championship took place 6–10 July at Österåker Golf Club in Åkersberga, Sweden. Venue The club was founded in 1988 and its Västerled course, opened the same year, was co-designed by Sven Tumba and Jan Sederholm and located 20 kilometres northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. It was the 28th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. The championship course was set up with par 72. Format Each team consisted of 6 players, playing two rounds of stroke-play over two days, counting the five best scores each day for each team. Henrik Anders Norlander (born 25 March 1987) is a Swedish professional golfer, who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Norlander was born and grew up in Danderyd, outside Stockholm, Sweden, and is son of lawyer Anders Norlander. He played both tennis and golf in his youth, but finally preferred golf. His competitive career began at Fågelbro Golf & Country Club, but he later came to represent Djursholm Golf Club.
