Jerry Dorey
Jerry Dorey was a member of the States of Jersey 1993–2005. Biography Jerry Dorey was born in 1951 at Ealing, London. He was educated at Victoria College, Jersey and Oxford University, gaining an M.A. (Oxon) in French. He took up a career as a freelance computer programmer in Jersey before being elected to the States of Jersey as Deputy for Saint Helier No.1 district in 1993. As a Deputy he was a member of Education, Health, Public Services, Broadcasting, JTA, Employment and Social Security and Establishment Committees; he sat on the Marina Committee of Inquiry, and the Limited Liability Partnerships Committee of Inquiry. Ealing
Ealing () is a district in West London, England, west of Charing Cross in the London Borough of Ealing. Vingtaine De La Ville
A vingtaine (literally "group of twenty" in French) is a political subdivision of Jersey. They are subdivisions of the various parishes of Jersey, and one, La Vingtaine de la Ville (The Vingtaine of the town), in Saint Helier is further divided into two cantons. St. Ouen has ''cueillettes'' (Jèrriais: ''Tchilliettes'') instead of vingtaines. In each vingtaine, vingteniers and Constable's officers (in French: ''officiers du Connétable'') are elected as part of Jersey's Honorary Police system. Paul Le Claire
Paul Vincent Le Claire (born 1963) is a Jersey politician who was a member of the States of Jersey from 1999 to 2011. He represented the Saint Helier District No.1 constituency and between 1999 and 2005 had an island-wide mandate as a senator. Biography He was born in 1963 in Jersey. Electoral history Le Claire first stood in a by-election for a vacant senatorial seat in a by-election held in February 1999, coming second to Jerry Dorey with 1,811 votes. Geraint Jennings
Geraint Jennings (born 13 May 1966) is a Jersey member of Municipality of St Helier and linguist. Biography Born in Saint Helier, he was educated at Victoria College Preparatory and Christ's Hospital. He graduated from University College, Oxford with a Master of Arts (Oxon) in Modern Languages. Further studies include a Licenciate Diploma in TESOL from Trinity College, London. He is fluent in Russian. His interests include art and illustration. He is the Procureur du Bien Public for the parish of St Helier. Jèrriais He is a teacher of Jèrriais and strongly active in the Société Jersiaise, which is a group dedicated to maintaining Jersey's language, history and culture.
