Jeremy Klein
Jeremy Klein (born July 12, 1971, in Torrance, California) is an American artist and former professional skateboarder. Professional skateboarding Klein rose to prominence as one of the original riders for Steve Rocco's World Industries company. He then switched to Birdhouse Skateboards, founded and owned by Tony Hawk. After being one of the first professionals on Birdhouse, Klein retired from the company in 2008. Hook-Ups Skateboards Hook-Ups is an American skateboard brand created by Klein in 1993 that is known for using Japanese animation style female characters and monsters on their products. The brand was part of the Blitz Distribution family who also distributed brands such as L.E Skateboards, Black Label, and SK8Mafia at that time. World Industries is a skateboarding company that offers skateboarding products, accessories and clothing. The company was founded by Steve Rocco in 1987. In 1988, Rocco was joined by skater, Rodney Mullen, and then Mike Vallely in 1989. As of 2014, World Industries operates under GVS America, a subsidiary of INA Sports Inc. & FGL Sports Ltd. Birdhouse Skateboards (originally Birdhouse Projects) is a skateboard company formed by ex-Powell Peralta professional skateboarders Tony Hawk and Per Welinder in 1992. Birdhouse makes decks and wheels, as well as clothing and accessories. Tony Hawk
Anthony Frank Hawk (born May 12, 1968), nicknamed Birdman, is an American professional skateboarder, entrepreneur, and the owner of the skateboard company Birdhouse. A pioneer of modern vertical skateboarding, Hawk completed the first documented " 900" skateboarding trick in 1999. Steve Rocco
Stephen Salvadore Rocco (born January 16, 1960) is an American businessperson and skateboarder. He founded the skateboarding company World Industries with Rodney Mullen in 1987. He has since sold the company and is currently retired. Career Rocco is an important figure in the early popularity of street skateboarding in the 1990s. The End (Birdhouse Film)
''The End'' is a 1998 skateboarding film from Birdhouse Skateboards. It was made under the direction of Jamie Mosberg, who also produced and edited it. The original movie was released in 1998, but the movie was re-released in 2001. Plot There is no real plot that runs throughout this documentary. Instead, each skater was placed into their segment to showcase their skills. Some of the skaters also incorporated a short story into their segments. Some of these story lines include McCrank looking for a job, Berra being killed by an unknown attacker, Reynolds hanging out with an orangutan, Kirchart and Klein's rampaging mayhem in the city and Lasek taking down Hawk so that Lasek can become the number one skateboarder.
