Jenn Bostic (born January 3, 1986 as Jennifer Christiana Bostic) is an American country music and Christian music singer-songwriter, based in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2012, her song " Jealous of the Angels" was released. Her album, ''Jealous'', was released in the United Kingdom and Ireland in September 2012, and her song "Jealous of the Angels" was released as her debut single in the UK in December. The song reached number one on the UK singer-songwriter charts. Early life and education Born in Philadelphia, Bostic was raised in Waconia, Minnesota. Her father, a musician, James Regan Bostic, was killed in a motoring accident when she was ten, an event which had a huge impact on her decision to become a musician. Weekend Wogan
''Weekend Wogan'' was the incarnation of the Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 2 from 14 February 2010 to 8 November 2015. The show was presented by Sir Terry Wogan, which marked his return to the airwaves following his departure as presenter of the weekday breakfast show, in December 2009. In its first year, the show was broadcast in front of a live audience in the BBC Radio Theatre, before moving to Western House, Radio 2's headquarters, where it remained until the end of its run. Wogan hosted the show for the final time on Remembrance Sunday 2015, as his health was beginning to decline due to cancer. He died from this illness on 31 January 2016. Having begun by at least 1979 it was originally part of his mid-morning show on BBC Radio 1, where it aired daily throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. The feature has more recently been heard on Smooth Radio (2010), Smooth Radio, where Bates presented the Simon Bates at Breakfast, Breakfast Show from 2011 to 2014. An edition of ''Our Tune'' typically features a personal story submitted by a listener together with a song that has significance to the person or situation. From 2010 to 2014, Smooth Radio was an independent, commercial, national radio station in the United Kingdom. Owned by Real and Smootha company formerly known as GMG Radiothe station was aimed at the over-40 demographic, and competed for its audience with BBC Radio 2. It was broadcast on the DAB Digital Radio Digital 1 national multiplex, Sky, Freesat, Freeview, Virgin Media, online and on regional FM and DAB frequencies in the North West, London, North East, West Midlands, Scotland and East Midlands. Nationally the station attracted a weekly average audience of 3 million. The station opened in 1990 as 102.2 Jazz FM in London, and a second Jazz FM branded station was launched four years later in Manchester.
