Jelen Pivo Live
Jelen Pivo Live was a musical event held in Belgrade, Serbia from 2006 to 2012 in order to promote the Apatin Brewery brand Jelen pivo. The first Jelen Pivo Live was organized as a festival featuring only Serbian rock acts, but the following year beside Serbian bands, foreign acts were also included in the festival lineup. Foreign acts that performed on the festival include Ian Brown, Happy Mondays, Gary Moore, Dinosaur Jr., The Stooges, The Lemonheads, The Fall, Heavy Trash, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Rakes. Slash (musician)
Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), better known as Slash, is a British-American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Slash has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history. Born in Hampstead, London, Slash moved to Los Angeles with his father when he was five years old. His parents were both active in the entertainment industry; he was given the nickname "Slash" as a child by actor Seymour Cassel. Darkwood Dub was a Serbian alternative rock band formed in Belgrade in 1988. In the years after the formation the band gradually grew to prominence on the Serbian rock scene, eventually becoming one of the most notable acts of the 1990s and 2000s Serbian and regional scene. Their music spawned many different genres. It was characterized by a mixture of live drumming and electronic percussion with frequent use of slide guitar, synthesizers and samplers and succinct and introspective lyrics, sung with offbeat vocals of Dejan Vučetić. The first letters of the band's first seven studio albums form an acronym of their home town. They have performed at every Exit festival since the first in 2000, with the exception of the virtual Exit held in September 2020. Disciplin A Kitschme, originally known as Disciplina Kičme ( sr-Cyrl, Дисциплина Кичме, transl. Boško Ćirković (Serbian Cyrillic:Бошко Ћирковић) (born 4 December 1976) better known as Škabo (Serbian Cyrillic: Шкабо) is a rapper, beatmaker and producer from Belgrade, Serbia. He has released three albums as a member of Beogradski Sindikat, nine solo albums and one album together with his wife, under the name PKS. Beginnings Before Beogradski Sindikat, Škabo was a member of underground rap group called ''Red Zmaja'' (''Order of the Dragon''). Then in 1999, alongside eight other MC's he founded Beogradski sindikat. He participated in almost every aspect of making the '' BSSST...Tišinčina'' - their first album. Orthodox Celts
Orthodox Celts is a Serbian band formed in Belgrade in 1992 which plays Irish folk music combined with rock elements. Despite their uncharacteristic genre in their home country, the band is one of the top acts of the Serbian rock scene and has influenced several younger Serbian bands, most notably Irish Stew of Sindidun and Tir na n'Og. The band started their career performing traditional Irish songs and, gradually, introduced more and more of their own material (lyrics mostly written by the band's frontman Aleksandar "Aca Celtic" Petrović, music mostly written by band's violinist Ana Đokić). Eyesburn is a Serbian band that combines hardcore punk and crossover thrash with reggae music. History 1994–2007 The band was formed in 1994, and the original line-up featured former Dead Ideas guitarist Nemanja "Kojot" Kojić (guitar, backing vocals), who simultaneously worked as trombonist in Del Arno Band and bass guitarist in Sunshine, Nenad Živić (vocals), former Bloodbath member Aleksandar "Alek" Petrović (drums), former Urgh! member Vladimir "Laza" Lazić (bass guitar) and Aleksandar "Gile" Radulović. Sunshine (Serbian Band)
Sunshine are a Serbian rapcore/ hip hop band from Belgrade. History 1990s The band was formed in 1993 by the vocalist Branko Bojović "Bane", also known as Gumbrowski, who, having previously worked in the Novi Beograd band Green Cool Posse, formed Sunshine with vocalist Đorđe Radivojević, also known as Đole Ramirez. Recording several demo recordings in the early 1980s and being directly influenced by rap music, while spending two years living in the United States during the late 1980s, Bojović decided to present his own interpretation of the genre. The band recorded their debut album, ''Ljubavna likvefakcija'' (''Love Assassifaction''), released through Jugodisk, combining rap and hardcore punk with sexually overt lyrics, being thus distanced from the mainstream media but nevertheless gaining a loyal fan base.
