Eyesburn
Eyesburn is a Serbian band that combines hardcore punk and crossover thrash with reggae music. History 1994–2007 The band was formed in 1994, and the original line-up featured former Dead Ideas guitarist Nemanja "Kojot" Kojić (guitar, backing vocals), who simultaneously worked as trombonist in Del Arno Band and bass guitarist in Sunshine, Nenad Živić (vocals), former Bloodbath member Aleksandar "Alek" Petrović (drums), former Urgh! member Vladimir "Laza" Lazić (bass guitar) and Aleksandar "Gile" Radulović. The name, Eyesburn, was chosen as a comment on the Serbian TV programs which "burned the eyes". The band's first release, the album ''Freedomized'', was recorded live at Belgrade club KST. During this period Eyesburn mostly played in Belgrade clubs, occasionally elsewhere in Serbia. The band also started working on their first studio album, ''Dog Life''. Svarog ( sr-Cyrl, Сварог) was a Serbian sludge/doom metal band from Belgrade, notable as one of the first representatives of the genres in Serbia. History The band was formed in November 1993 by the guitarist Zoran Đuroski "Đura Mysterious" (a former Brainstorm, Crist, SMF, Pussycat and Overdose member), vocalist Boško Blažić (a former Sunrise member), drummer Vladimir Vilovski "Šola" (a former Brainstorm and Sick Mother Fakers member) and bassist Milan Barković "Bare" (a former Pussycat member). Dead Ideas
Dead Ideas were a Serbian hardcore punk/crossover thrash band from Belgrade. History The band was formed in 1990 by bassist and vocalist Darko Marković, however, after their first live appearance, the band disbanded. The following year, on January, with the female vocalist Jelena Komnenić and guitarist Nemanja Kojić, Marković reformed the band, soon being joined by the drummer Igor Škoro. On April of the same year, the band recorded four songs at the Belgrade Focus studio, released on their debut 7" extended play ''Welcome To The Abyss'' by the indie record label Start Today Records. During May 1992, the band recorded eight new songs at the ''M'' studio in Novi Sad, but the recordings were not released due to the band not being able to find a record label. The material was eventually self-released by the band as ''Dead Ideas Promo Tape'', on compact cassette. Del Arno Band is a Serbian and Yugoslav reggae band formed in Belgrade in 1986. Del Arno Band are one of the pioneers of Serbian and Yugoslav reggae scenes and are considered the longest-lasting reggae band of former Yugoslavia. Smoke'n'Soul
Smoke'n'Soul is a roots reggae/dancehall band from Belgrade, Serbia. It was formed in 2000 by Miloš Iković and Vladimir Krkljuš. Over the years they have developed their organic sound that incorporates all of the roots reggae foundations and rasta philosophies, as well as introducing heavy funk and soul influence. Smoke'n'Soul won Rebel Demo - Battle of the Bands contest held in 2003 in Belgrade playing their first single ''War Inside of You''. The band has played well received shows appearing in many of the Balkans established music festivals including three performances at the Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.
