Jeffery William Donaldson is a Canadian poet and critic. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Donaldson was educated at Victoria College, University of Toronto. Canadians
Canadians (french: Canadiens) are people identified with the country of Canada. This connection may be residential, legal, historical or cultural. For most Canadians, many (or all) of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being ''Canadian''. A poet is a person who studies and creates poetry. Poets may describe themselves as such or be described as such by others. McMaster University (McMaster or Mac) is a public research university in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Literary criticism (or literary studies) is the study, evaluation, and interpretation of literature. Modern literary criticism is often influenced by literary theory, which is the philosophical discussion of literature's goals and methods.
