Jeff Hutcheson
Jeff Hutcheson (born April 15, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario) is a former Canadian weather and sports anchor for ''Canada AM''. He started his career in 1976 at CFRB as a "good news" reporter, during his first year in college. His next work was with CKCO-TV in Kitchener, Ontario, where he was a sports anchor, reporter, producer, television host and writer A writer is a person who uses written words in different writing styles and techniques to communicate ideas. CKGL (570 AM broadcasting, AM) is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 570 AM broadcasting, AM in Kitchener, Ontario. The station currently broadcasts a all-news radio, news/talk radio, talk format branded on-air as ''CityNews 570''. The station is owned by Rogers Sports & Media, and is an affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays Radio Network. CKGL is also the radio broadcaster for the Kitchener Rangers. History The station was originally launched in 1949 as FM broadcasting, FM 96.7 CKCR-FM, simulcasting the programming of CHYM-FM, CKCR. In 1965, the stations were acquired by Great Lakes Broadcasting, a consortium that included Maclean-Hunter. Both stations changed their callsigns to CHYM (pronounced as "chime") that year.
