Jean Domingue
Jean Domingue (born September 26, 1962) is a politician from Quebec, Canada. He was an Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) Member of the National Assembly for the electoral district of Bellechasse from 2007 to 2008. Domingue was born in Montreal, Quebec. He joined the ADQ in 2003. Domingue was first elected in the 2007 election with 49% of the vote. Liberal incumbent Dominique Vien finished second with 34% of the vote. Domingue took office on April 12, 2007. The National Assembly of Quebec (officially in french: link=no, Assemblée nationale du Québec) is the legislative body of the province of Quebec in Canada. Bellechasse (provincial Electoral District)
Bellechasse is a provincial electoral riding in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada which elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes a section of the city of Lévis as well as Saint-Henri, Saint-Anselme, Lac-Etchemin, Sainte-Claire, Beaumont, Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Saint-Raphaël and Saint-Gervais. Dominique Vien
Dominique Vien (born February 10, 1967) is a Canadian politician, who served as Member of the National Assembly for the electoral district of Bellechasse from 2003 to 2007. She was defeated in the 2007 election by Jean Domingue of the Action démocratique du Québec, but was then re-elected in the same district in 2008. She was a member of the Quebec Liberal Party and was the delegate minister for Health and Social Services, previously the Minister for Government Services. Born in Lévis, Quebec, Vien studied at Université Laval and received a bachelor's degree in communications in 1992. She also studied at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in training, animation and leadership in 2001. The Conservative Party of Quebec (CPQ; french: Parti conservateur du Québec (PCQ)) is a provincial political party in Quebec, Canada. It was authorized on 25 March 2009 by the Chief Electoral Officer of Quebec. 2007 Quebec General Election
The 2007 Quebec general election was held in the Canadian province of Quebec on March 26, 2007 to elect members of the 38th National Assembly of Quebec. The Quebec Liberal Party led by Premier Jean Charest managed to win a plurality of seats, but were reduced to a minority government, Quebec's first in 129 years, since the 1878 general election.
