Jay Rantall
Jay Rantall (born 10 June 2001) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in five games for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League in 2021. He has also represented Australia internationally in basketball, playing for the under-17 team in the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship and the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup. Early life and state football Rantall was born in Warrnambool and studied at Warrnambool College. He played junior football for South Warrnambool in the Hampden Football Netball League. While playing junior football, Rantall also played basketball with Warrnambool Seahawks in the Big V until 2018. He represented the Australian under-17 basketball team internationally, being selected for the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship roster. Tom Phillips (born 7 May 1996) is an Australian rules footballer who most recently played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early and personal life Phillips grew up in Melbourne. He participated in the Auskick program at Milgate Primary School in Doncaster East, Victoria. He attended Caulfield Grammar School, where he excelled at Australian rules football and running. His uncle, Andrew Phillips played 42 games for Carlton. His younger brother Ed Phillips played for St Kilda. AFL Draft Combine
The AFL Draft Combine, formerly known as the AFL Draft Camp, is a gathering of prospective talent, where selected potential draftees display their athletic prowess and relevant Australian rules football skills. Over four days participants are required to undergo a series of medical, psychomotor, athletic and fitness tests as well as interviews conducted by the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League. The first AFL Draft Camp was held in 1994 at Waverley Park; in 1999 it moved to Canberra, where it was hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport, and in 2011 it was moved to Docklands Stadium. Each year the Draft Combine is held in the week following the AFL Grand Final.
