Bakery Jatta (born 6 June 1998) is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for 2. Bundesliga club Hamburger SV. International career Jatta was called up by Gambia national team in October 2019. He pulled out of the squad in November 2019, saying he wished to concentrate on his club career. Personal life and identity dispute Jatta is said to have come to Germany in 2015 as a refugee. However, in August 2019, suspicions in the news arose over his identity as according to a German press article by ''Sport Bild'' his real name was speculated to be Bakery Daffeh and his age was speculated to be older. Barbara Jatta (born 6 October 1962) is an Italian art historian who has been the director of the Vatican Museums since June 2016. Early life and education Jatta has joked that she was born among the smell of solvents. Her mother was a painter and restorer, and her sister a restorer. She often visited her grandparents on Via Giulia in Rome, or at Fregene on the outskirts of the city, where her grandmother, Assia Busiri Vici, a portrait painter, would paint her. Antonio Jatta
Antonio Jatta (25 June 1852 – 4 August 1912) was an Italian politician and lichenologist. After completing his secondary studies at the Classical Lyceum Umberto I in Naples, at the age of 22 he graduated with honours in natural history at the University of Naples and in agriculture at the Royal Higher School of Agriculture in Portici. He was a wealthy landowner who published ''Flora Italica Cryptogama'' in several volumes from 1900 to 1909. Jatta identified the lichens that were given in the 1915 list of the lichens of the Maltese Islands, compiled by the botanists Carlo Pietro Stefano Sommier and Alfredo Caruana Gatto. Ousman Rambo Jatta (born 13 June 1969), known as Rambo, is a Gambian politician. He is currently a councillor in Old Bakau and deputy leader of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC). Political career Jatta was a member of the United Democratic Party (UDP). In 2006, he protested against suspected misconduct in the Gambian presidential election. He claimed that a group of people travelling in army vehicles on their way to vote were, instead of Gambian soldiers, non-Gambians dressed in military uniforms. As a result of this allegation, Jatta was arrested on 23 September. He was defended by UDP party leader and human rights lawyer Ousainou Darboe. Jatta was held in prison for a year. Kombo was a kingdom and later a chieftaincy in Gambia during the colonial period. Kombo was part of the Mali Empire and gained independence after its fall, and was then ruled by the Sambou Bainunka clan.
