Jaspal Bhatti
Jaspal Singh Bhatti (3 March 1955 – 25 October 2012) was an Indian television personality known for his satirical take on the problems of the common man. He is most well known for his television series ''Flop Show, Full Tension'' and mini capsules ''Ulta Pulta'' which ran on Doordarshan, India's national television network, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was commonly known as "King of Comedy" and also "King of Satire". He carried out various anti corruption crusades in Chandigarh. His frontal attack on issues like redtapism, nepotism, and corruption was both comic and awakening for masses. In 2013, he was (posthumously) honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award. Mahaul Theek Hai
''Mahaul Theek Hai'' is a 1999 Indian Punjabi language comedy film directed by filmmaker Jaspal Bhatti. The English subtitled version is called ''The Atmosphere Is Right''. Plot ''Mahaul Theek Hai'' (meaning 'the situation is okay') is a record setting Punjabi film. It is a comedy satire about corruption in system and working style of police force in India. The plot is a story where boy (Smeep Kang) meets girl (Chandni Toor). The hero's brother Raj Babbar, is involved with an illegal businessman. Vivek Shauq
Vivek Shauq (21 June 1963 – 10 January 2011) was an Indian actor, comedian, writer and singer. He had acted in Hindi and Punjabi films, television serials, theatre and television commercials. He was also a popular writer and singer. Shauq was also involved with the Sant Nirankari Mission. He was fluent in Urdu. He was also the founding member of the Nonsense Club. He died of a heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai, at the age of 47. He was survived by his wife and three children. Early life Shauq was born on 21 June 1963 in Chandigarh. The Aam Aadmi Party (; AAP) is a political party in India, as one of the national political parties. The AAP was founded in November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his then-companions following the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement, popularly known as Anna Andolan. 2014 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014 to elect the members of the 16th Lok Sabha. With 834 million registered voters, they were the largest-ever elections in the world until being surpassed by the 2019 Indian general election, 2019 elections. Around 23.1 million or 2.7% of the total eligible voters were aged 18–19 years. A total of 8,251 candidates contested the 543 elected Lok Sabha seats.
