Jason Dill
Jason Dill (born November 21, 1976) is an American professional skateboarder, photographer, and co-founder of Fucking Awesome—an American skate company. Early life Dill was born in Huntington Beach, California, Huntington Beach, California, United States (U.S.). When he was 8, he met future professional skater Ed Templeton who Dill described as having "changed his life." Professional skateboarding Dill received his first sponsorship when he was 12 before being recruited by Natas Kaupas to ride for a division of World Industries. In 1998, he joined Alien Workshop where he spent 15 years on the pro team. He held the final spot on the influential ''Photosynthesis'' video and also appeared in the later ''Mind Field'' video. Jason Dill left Alien Workshop in 2013. In 2014, Dill founded the skateboard company Fucking Awesome, along side fellow professional skater Anthony Van Engelen. Fucking Awesome is an American skateboard company and streetwear brand. Due to the profanity in the brand's name, it is often referred to as simply "FA." FA was created by professional skateboarders Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen. FA has created collaborations with brands like Vans, Adidas Originals, Adidas, and Independent trucks, Independent Trucks. FA has a sister brand called "Hockey." FA is close with Hockey and the brand often releases video parts using both sets of teams. Team FA currently harbors two skate teams, Fucking Awesome and Hockey. Ed Templeton
Ed Templeton (born July 28, 1972) is an American professional skateboarder, contemporary artist, and photographer. He is the founder of the skateboard company, Toy Machine, a company that he continues to own and manage. He is based in Huntington Beach, California. Templeton was inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame in 2016. Early life Templeton was born in Garden Grove, Orange County, California, USA. His family lived in various places in Southern California before moving to Huntington Beach. He began skateboarding in 1985 in Huntington Beach, with friend, Jason Lee. Natas Kaupas
Natas Kaupas (born March 23, 1969) is an American former professional skateboarder. He grew up in South Santa Monica, California, in the area known as Dogtown, and is of Lithuanian descent. He is often referred to as one of the first true professional street skateboarders. Early 1980s Kaupas began skating during his childhood years. In 1983 Kaupas won a local Santa Monica surfing contest and received a Santa Monica Airlines (SMA) skateboard as a first place prize. SMA was operated out of the back of a surfshop owned by Skip Engblom. Kaupas approached Engblom about becoming a member of his skate team, which did not exist. However, Engblom was impressed with Kaupas's skating ability and offered to sponsor him. Kaupas by his own admission remained clueless and uninterested in the mainstream skateboard subculture. World Industries is a skateboarding company that offers skateboarding products, accessories and clothing. The company was founded by Steve Rocco in 1987. In 1988, Rocco was joined by skater, Rodney Mullen, and then Mike Vallely in 1989. As of 2014, World Industries operates under GVS America, a subsidiary of INA Sports Inc. & FGL Sports Ltd. Alien Workshop
Alien Workshop (AWS) is an independent American skateboarding company that was founded in 1990 by Chris Carter, Mike Hill, and Neil Blender in Dayton, Ohio. Following periods under the ownership of the Burton snowboard company and original team rider Rob Dyrdek in 2012, the company was acquired by Pacific Vector Holdings in October 2013. Alien Workshop produced skateboard decks, wheels, apparel, and other skateboard accessories prior to its closure in May 2014. In 2015, Alien Workshop was revived with an all-amateur team and distribution through Tum Yeto. They released a series of new skate decks and ''Bunker Down'', the brand's sixth video. Anthony Van Engelen
Anthony Van Engelen (born November 20, 1978) is an American professional skateboarder whose stance is Regular. In the skateboarding scene he is well known by the name “AVE”, which is an acronym of his full name. Early life Van Engelen was born in San Diego, California, United States (US). Professional skateboarding Van Engelen's first sponsor was Volcom, but his first board sponsor was Channel One Skateboards. He was then sponsored by 23 Skateboards. Alien Workshop Van Engelen attained professional status with Alien Workshop skateboards as his deck sponsor in 1999 at the age of 21. His first full video part was in 411VM.
