Fucking Awesome is an American skateboard company and streetwear brand. Due to the profanity in the brand's name, it is often referred to as simply "FA." FA was created by professional skateboarders Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen. FA has created collaborations with brands like Vans, Adidas Originals, Adidas, and Independent trucks, Independent Trucks. FA has a sister brand called "Hockey." FA is close with Hockey and the brand often releases video parts using both sets of teams. Team FA currently harbors two skate teams, Fucking Awesome and Hockey. Skateboard
A skateboard is a type of sports equipment used for skateboarding. They are usually made of a specially designed 7-8 ply maple plywood deck and polyurethane wheels attached to the underside by a pair of skateboarding trucks. The skateboarder moves by pushing with one foot while the other foot remains balanced on the board, or by pumping one's legs in structures such as a bowl or half pipe. A skateboard can also be used by simply standing on the deck while on a downward slope and allowing gravity to propel the board and rider. If the rider's leading foot is their right foot, they are said to ride "goofy". The two main types of skateboards are the longboard and the shortboard. Sean Pablo
Sean Pablo Murphy (born August 30, 1997), known as Sean Pablo, is a regular-footed American skateboarder, designer, model, musician, and photographer. Early life Born in Silver Lake, California to Brendan Murphy, a father of Irish descent, and Carolina Argueta, a mother of Salvadoran descent. Pablo first started skateboarding at the age of 10 after his father, a surfer and skateboarder, encouraged him to pick up the sport. Sean Pablo was homeschooled for a portion of high school by his father, while his mother worked as a teacher. Professional career Pablo and his friends, Aidan Mackey and Sage Elsesser, spent their time replicating the style and fashion of notable 90s skateboarders such as Jason Dill, and the late Dylan Rieder. Dylan Rieder
Dylan Joseph Rieder (May 26, 1988 – October 12, 2016) was an American professional skateboarder, artist, and model. Early life Born Dylan Joseph Rieder, in Westminster, California, to Joe Rieder, a barber, and Dana, née Webb, now Ortiz; raised alongside a younger sister, Makenna. Skateboarding career Rieder started skating at the age of 9. He turned Pro at 18 with his breakout part in Transworld Skateboarding's 2006 video ''A Time To Shine''. He was recognized as the Skateboard Mag's Am of the year in 2006 In 2014 he was featured in Supreme's 2014 video "Cherry", for which he won Transworld Skateboarding's award for Best Part in 2015. Tyshawn Jones (born December 24, 1998) is a regular-footed American professional skateboarder, from New York. He is a two time ''Thrasher'' Skater of the Year winner (2018 and 2022) Early life Born in Manhattan, New York Jones grew up splitting his childhood between New Jersey and The Bronx, New York. After playing Skate with his brother and uncle at the age of 10, Jones was introduced to the world of skateboarding and purchased his first skateboard from Target. Although Jones' older brother (Brian Jones) eventually quit skateboarding, Tyshawn remained persistent without letting failures discourage him. Louie Lopez
Louie Lopez (born November 26, 1994) is a regular-footed American skateboarder from Los Angeles, CA. He is of Mexican and Guatemalan descent. Skateboarding career Lopez first became sponsored by Flip Skateboards at the age of seven. In 2006, Lopez made his video debut in Flip’s ''Feast Tours.'' In 2007, Lopez competed in the Tampa Am for the first time. Louie’s combination of technical ledge skills and ability to boost huge in transition made him an immediate threat on the contest circuit. Sage Gabriel Carlos Atreyu Elsesser (born January 31, 1997), also known as Navy Blue, is an American regular-footed skateboarder, rapper, record producer, visual artist, and model. Elsesser has been sponsored by several skater fashion brands including Converse and Supreme, as well as becoming a professional skater in 2014 through skater collective and clothing store Fucking Awesome. Aside from skating and music, he is also a model for various clothing brands and an artist, most notably handling the art direction for Earl Sweatshirt's album ''I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside'' in 2015.
