''Jasmine Trias'' is the debut album from the Filipino American pop/ R&B singer Jasmine Trias. About the album United States release ''Jasmine Trias'' was released in the United States on July 12, 2005. The album was released by Clockwork Entertainment throughout the United States although there were many distribution problems in the first few months. In its first week, the album sold 5,000 copies; since then it has had a steady growth in sales. In its first week, it registered at No. 20 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, No. 11 on Billboard's top heatseekers chart, and at No. 1 on Billboard's heatseekers (Pacific) chart. As of July 2007, the album had sold 14,000 copies in the United States alone according to Nielsen SoundScan. In late 2006, it was confirmed by Clockwork Entertainment, that the debut album had sold approximately 50,000 copies worldwide. Jasmine Trias
Jasmine Trias (born November 3, 1986) is an American singer-entertainer who was the third place finalist on the third season of ''American Idol''. She has released one album to date, ''Jasmine Trias''. Biography Trias was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Mililani Town, Hawaii. She is the eldest daughter of Filipino immigrants to Hawaii from Tanza, Cavite. Trias attended Maryknoll School, a Roman Catholic preparatory school of the Diocese of Honolulu. As a representative of Maryknoll School, she won the ''Brown Bags to Stardom 2001'' state singing competition and the ''Road to Fame 2003'' youth talent competition. Trias graduated from Maryknoll School in June 2004. ''American Idol'' Trias first gained recognition on the third season of ''American Idol''. She auditioned in her home state of Hawaii. Joanna Noëlle Levesque (born December 20, 1990), known professionally as JoJo, is an American singer and actress. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows as a child. Dream was an American pop girl group best known for their transatlantic hit single "He Loves U Not". The group was active from 1998 through 2003 and briefly reunited in 2015, releasing the single "I Believe" before disbanding in 2016. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States.
