The is Japan's national open golf championship. Founded in 1927, it is one of the oldest professional golf tournaments in Japan. The Japan Open is one of the three richest tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour, with a prize fund of ¥210 million in 2022. Between 1992 and 2021 it was the tour's designated "Flagship event" for the purposes of the Official World Golf Ranking, with a minimum winner's points allocation of 32 points. Miki, Hyōgo
is a Cities of Japan, city in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. , the city had an estimated population of 75,009 and a population density of 420 persons per km². The total area of the city is . Geography Miki is located in the southwestern part of Hyogo prefecture, northwest of Kobe, on the 135th meridian east line. It is included in the Harima Plain on the west side of the Rokko Mountains and on the south side of the Chugoku Mountains, and the Mino River flows from east to west in the city area. Fluvial terraces and gentle hills spread around the plains. Since it is inland, precipitation is relatively low and there are many ponds. Satoshi Kodaira
is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and Japan Golf Tour. While playing on the Japan Golf Tour, Kodaira has had seven victories, including two Japan Golf Tour majors, the 2013 Japan Golf Tour Championship Shishido Hills and the 2015 Japan Open. He has also won once on the Japan Challenge Tour in 2012. In April 2018, Kodaira won the RBC Heritage, for his first victory on the PGA Tour, in just his 15th start. Lee Kyoung-hoon (; born 24 August 1991), also known as K. H. Lee, is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the 2021 and 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson. Professional career Lee turned professional in 2010 and joined the OneAsia Tour for 2011, earning his card through qualifying school. Takumi Kanaya
Takumi Kanaya ( ja, 金谷拓実, born 23 May 1998) is a Japanese professional golfer. He had an exceptionally successful amateur career and was world ranked number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 55 weeks. He also won a professional event on the 2019 Japan Golf Tour while still an amateur. Amateur career Kanaya had a successful amateur career, winning the 2015 Japan Amateur Championship and the 2018 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.
