Janusz Stokłosa
Janusz Stokłosa (born 15 May 1954) is a Polish pianist and composer. He graduated from the Department of Theory and History of Music at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (1978). From 1984 to 1990 he was the musical director of Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw, where he co-starred musicals: ''Brel'', ''Hemar'', ''Wysocki'' with Wojciech Młynarski and Janusz Józefowicz. From 1986 to 1991 he worked with Michał Bajor. In 1991 he composed music for the musical ''Metro'', directed and choreographed by Janusz Józefowicz. For the music for this musical Stokłosa was nominated for the Broadway Tony Award The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, more commonly known as the Tony Award, recognizes excellence in live Broadway theatre. Rabka-Zdrój
Rabka-Zdrój (, in Goral dialects: ''Robka'', colloquially: ''Rabka'') is a spa town in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. It is located between Kraków and Zakopane in a valley on the northern slopes of the Gorce Mountains, where the rivers Poniczanka and Słonka join the river Raba. It has about 13,000 inhabitants. Janusz Józefowicz
Janusz Józefowicz (born 3 July 1959, Świecie) is a Polish director, choreographer, actor and dancer. He is the director and choreographer of the musical ''Metro''. Education Józefowicz is a graduate of the State Higher School of Theatre, Warsaw (now the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art). His graduate production, ''Misbehaving'', was created in 1984. The show was performed at the Ateneum Theatre and the , where Józefowicz later became head choreographer. Józefowicz studied dance at the Vocal and Dance School in Koszecin, and in Prague, under the dance professor . Polsat News is a Polish news channel, launched on 7 June 2008 at 7:00am (UTC+1). Being a part of the Polsat Network, Polsat News is owned by Polsat Group. It is available over Cyfrowy Polsat, nc+ and UPC Poland digital platforms in Poland. It is broadcast on Hot Bird 6, 11158V, 27500 3/4. History Polsat News started broadcasting on 7 June 2008 thirty seconds before the 7am hour (UTC+1). Polsat News is the first Polish news channel to broadcast in 16:9 format. From 7 June to 14 July the channel was broadcast in test emission. Up to September, the channel was broadcast as FTA. The live programme is broadcast from 6am to 24:00 (UTC+1). The news programmes are broadcast every half an hour. The channel hires about 400 people. On 1 August 2008 Polsat News started broadcasting adverts. Tony Award
The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, more commonly known as the Tony Award, recognizes excellence in live Broadway theatre. The awards are presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League at an annual ceremony in Midtown Manhattan. The awards are given for Broadway productions and performances. One is also given for regional theatre. Several discretionary non-competitive awards are given as well, including a Special Tony Award, the Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre, and the Isabelle Stevenson Award. Wojciech Młynarski
Wojciech Młynarski (26 March 1941 – 15 March 2017) was a Polish poet, singer, songwriter, translator and director. A well-known figure on the Polish musical scene, he was most famous for his ballads and what is known as sung poetry, as well as for his collaboration with numerous vocalists and cabarets. He wrote lyrics to more than 2,000 songs, a small fraction of which he sang himself. His songs received a total of 25 "Karolinkas", which are the main awards of the Polish Song Festival in Opole, the most important Polish song festival, occurring annually since 1963. He also composed music to some of his songs. He is considered an icon of Polish culture. Ateneum Theatre
The Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw ( pl, Teatr Ateneum im. Stefana Jaracza w Warszawie) is a Polish dramatic theatre founded in 1928. It resides in a building erected a year earlier in the interwar Poland as headquarters for the Professional Union of PKP Railway Workers with offices upstairs.
