Jan-Arie Van Der Heijden
Jan-Arie van der Heijden (born 3 March 1988) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre back, most recently for Eredivisie club Willem II. Club career Ajax Born in Leiden, Van der Heijden made his debut for Ajax in a league match against Roda JC on 4 November 2007 (4–2). Prior to playing for Ajax, he played for Schoonhoven. He has also attained a bachelor's degree in Sports and Economics. Although he only played two league games for Ajax he did play a full match against VfB Stuttgart and made a substitutes appearance against Italian champions Inter Milan. On his 20th birthday, 3 March 2008, Van der Heijden signed an improved contract that bound him to Ajax until 2013. In the 2008–09 season under manager Marco van Basten, Van der Heijden was injured until March 2009 due to a double knee-injury. VVV-Venlo (, ''VVV'' stands for ''Venlose Voetbal Vereniging'' meaning "Venlo Football Club") is a Dutch football club from Venlo, a city on the border with Germany. Giovanni Christiaan van Bronckhorst (born 5 February 1975) is a Dutch football manager and former player, who was most recently the manager of Scottish Premiership club Rangers. Formerly a midfielder, he moved to left-back later in his career. During his club career, Van Bronckhorst played for RKC Waalwijk, Feyenoord, Rangers, Arsenal, Barcelona and again with Feyenoord. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. Alkmaar Zaanstreek (), better known as AZ Alkmaar or simply AZ (), is a Dutch professional football club from Alkmaar and the Zaan district. Eric Fernando Botteghin (born 31 August 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Italian club Ascoli. Career Botteghin played in the youth academy of Grêmio Barueri, but was also loaned out to Internacional for one season. In January 2007, Botteghin moved from Grêmio Barueri to FC Zwolle in the Netherlands. In 2011, he joined NAC Breda. After two seasons he transferred to FC Groningen. Sven van Beek (born 28 July 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club Heerenveen. Theo Bos (5 October 1965 - 28 February 2013) was a Dutch football player and coach. He played for Vitesse Arnhem from 1983 to 1998. During his career at Vitesse, he amassed a total of 429 matches, a record for the club. Playing career Bos began his career at amateur club Sv Sempre Avanti and played from 1979 to 1983 in the academy of Vitesse. After breaking through in several youth teams Bos made his professional debut on 13 August 1983 in the first team against FC Wageningen, which Vitesse won 3–0. In the 1988–89 season Bos won the Eerste Divisie title. The following season saw further progress; a fourth-place finish in 1989–90 saw Vitesse qualify for the UEFA Cup for the first time in its history. RKC Waalwijk
RKC Waalwijk () is a Dutch professional football club based in Waalwijk, that is currently competing in the Eredivisie. Its name is derived from 'Rooms Katholieke Combinatie' ('Roman Catholic Combination' in Dutch) and was established as a merger of HEC, WVB and Hercules.
