James Veitch (comedian)
James Veitch () is an English comedian. He has mostly been known for his interactions with the authors of scam emails (known as scam baiting) using slideshows and video effects. In September 2020, Veitch was the subject of more than a dozen allegations of rape and sexual assault. Career Veitch worked as a film editor on the 2006 film ''Papa Joe'' and as a digital intermediate conform artist on the 2008 movie '' Middle of Nowhere''. In 2009, Veitch adapted John Keats's writings into a play for Keats House. Veitch's first solo comedy show, ''The Fundamental Interconnectedness of Everyone with an Internet Connection'', was launched at Brighton Fringe in May 2014 as part of the arts industry showcase WINDOW. HQ Trivia
HQ was a mobile trivia game developed by Intermedia Labs for iOS, Android, iPadOS, and tvOS. First released in 2017, the HQ app allowed users to play in daily live trivia games, through which they could win or split prize money. HQ was developed by Vine creators Rus Yusupov and Colin Kroll, and credited as a production of Intermedia Labs. The app's original game was HQ Trivia, in which players have 10 seconds to answer multiple-choice questions that incrementally increase in difficulty. Additional games, such as HQ Words and HQ Tunes, were added later. The last HQ games were supposed to be hosted once a week, with a prize pot of $1,500, and typically saw around 15,000 players each. Melbourne International Comedy Festival
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is the largest stand-alone comedy festival and the second-largest international comedy festival in the world. Established in 1987, it takes place annually in Melbourne over four weeks, typically starting in March and running through to April. The Melbourne Town Hall has served as the festival hub, but performances are held in many venues throughout the city. Pleasance Courtyard
The Pleasance is a theatre, bar, sports and recreation complex in Edinburgh, Scotland, situated on a street of the same name. It is owned by the University of Edinburgh, and for nine months of the year it serves the Edinburgh University Students' Association as a societies centre, sports complex, student union bar and entertainment venue.
