Professional Darts Corporation
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam. It also runs its own world rankings based on players' performances. History In the 1980s, professional darts in Britain lost much of its sponsorship television coverage. From 1989, the only televised event was the annual Embassy World Championship. European Football Show
''European Football Show'' (also referred to on occasion as ''Sunday Night European Football'' ) was a football TV programme on BT Sport presented by James Richardson. The show was originally split into three segments. It began with a discussion between Richardson and the show's pundits of the weekend's European football (from the German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, and Italian Serie A) along with highlights of matches played in the featured leagues. That led into the programme's featured live football match, which could have been from either the French or Italian leagues. Following the match, more discussion took place on the events of the match, and goings on from the world of football over the previous week. However, more recently the show only lasts for one 1 hour and 15 minute segment of discussion from the weekend's news, with the live match becoming a separate programme afterwards.{{cite news, title=TV Guide, url=http://sport.bt.com/tv-guide-01363810618853, accessdate=30 ...
