Late Kick Off
''Late Kick Off'' is a BBC One regional television football programme which was broadcast between 2010 and 2015. Launched on 18 January 2010, it covered Football League teams on a regional or pan-regional basis in a magazine-style format. The show was usually broadcast on Monday nights, although it was broadcast on Sunday evenings during the 2012 series. The 2014 series of the programme was the last, with the end of the programme announced in December 2014 amid speculation the BBC lost the rights of the Football League to Channel 5, this was confirmed in May 2015 with the final Football League Show airing on 25 May 2015. The show was in a similar vein to ITV's '' Soccer Night'', and complemented ''The Football League Show'' which aired throughout the season on Saturday nights. Matt Holland
Matthew Rhys Holland (born 11 April 1974) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Holland began his career at West Ham United, having previously been with Arsenal's academy. During his time at West Ham spent time out on loan at Farnborough Town and AFC Bournemouth, going on to join the later permanently in 1995. After making over one hundred appearances for Bournemouth and captaining the club, Holland signed for Ipswich Town in 1997. He spent six years at Ipswich, making over three hundred appearances and captaining the club to promotion to the Premier League through the First Division play-offs in 2000. Jonathan Pearce (commentator)
Jonathan Mark Pearce (born 23 December 1959) is an English sports commentator most known for his work on '' Robot Wars'' and more recently football for the BBC and BT Sport. He worked for Radio Five Live and ''Match of the Day'', as well as participating in other lower-profile sports programmes. Early life and career Growing up, Pearce had the intention of becoming a footballer, which subsequently ended when he broke his leg. He started his career in broadcasting at BBC Radio Bristol, and his first match commentary was Bristol Rovers against Exeter City in the League Cup. He became a sports editor at the age of 23. Guy Nicholas Mowbray (born 16 February 1972) is an English football commentator, who primarily appears on the BBC and BT Sport. While working for Eurosport at the 1998 World Cup, he became the youngest ever television commentator on a World Cup Final, aged 26. Early life Mowbray's career began in the mid-1990s through the ClubCall network, a series of premium rate phone lines containing club information and commentaries. BBC One
