James Jones (1920s Cricketer)
James M Jones (15 February 1885 – 19 December 1953), known as Jimmy Jones, played first-class cricket for Somerset and Glamorgan in the 1920s. He also appeared in first-class cricket matches for the Wales team. Jones was a left-handed lower- or middle-order batsman and a wicketkeeper. He appeared for Somerset in a single match in the 1922 season, and then became a regular player as a professional for the first two-thirds of the 1923 season, though he kept wicket only when amateur players, in particular Dar Lyon were not available. In addition to occasionally keeping wicket, Jones often made useful runs. In the match against Gloucestershire at Taunton he batted at No 7 and top-scored in the first innings with 70, which was his highest score for Somerset. He batted at No 3 in other matches and from there he made 50 in the match against Worcestershire at Kidderminster. Blackwell, Bolsover
Blackwell is a village in Derbyshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 4,389. It is one of the four villages that make up the civil parish of Blackwell within the District of Bolsover - the other villages being Hilcote, Newton and Westhouses. The Parish Council meets monthly. A brief history of the Parish of Blackwell was published in 1994 (the centenary year of the formation of Blackwell Parish Council). It is 3½ miles north-east of Alfreton. William Foulke the Sheffield United, Chelsea, Bradford City and England goalkeeper lived in Blackwell before moving to Sheffield to sign for Sheffield United. Another native of Blackwell was Percy Toplis – ''The Monocled Mutineer'' – who went on to become a mutineer and conman during and after World War I. Toplis, while wanted for murdering a taxi driver, was eventually shot and killed by police officers on the Scottish Borders.

The Chester Road North Ground, often referred to simply as Chester Road or Kidderminster, is a cricket ground in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England. It is the home of Kidderminster Cricket Club, and is currently used for Worcestershire County Cricket Club's Second XI matches. It was opened in 1870. International cricket Kidderminster hosted international cricket in 2005 when the second Women's One-day International between England and Australia was played here. The Australians won by 65 runs thanks largely to 7-24 from Shelley Nitschke, who became the first Australian woman to take more than five wickets in an ODI. Denstone College
Denstone College is a mixed, independent, boarding and day school in Denstone, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England. It is a Woodard School, having been founded by Nathaniel Woodard, and so Christian traditions are practised as part of College life. It is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.
