James H. Noble
James Harvey Noble (March 30, 1851 – March 1, 1912) was an American physician and politician. Born in Dane County, Wisconsin, Noble went to the Madison, Wisconsin public schools and the University of Wisconsin. In 1871, Noble received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College of Chicago. Noble moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1871 and practiced medicine. Noble served on the Eau Claire Board of Education and was president of the school board. From 1905 to 1909, Noble served in the Wisconsin State Senate and was a Republican. In 1910, Noble left Eau Claire for Colorado and then New Mexico to regain his health. Dane County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 561,504, making it the second-most populous county in Wisconsin. The county seat is Madison, which is also the state capital. Dane County is the central county of the Madison, Wisconsin, Metropolitan Statistical Area, as well as the Madison- Janesville- Beloit Combined Statistical Area. History Dane County was formed in 1836 as a territorial county and organized in 1839. Roswell () is a city in, and the County seat, seat of, Chaves County, New Mexico, Chaves County in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Chaves County forms the entirety of the List of micropolitan areas in New Mexico, Roswell micropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census it had a population of 48,422, making it the fifth-largest city in New Mexico. It is home of the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), founded in 1891. The city is also the location of an Eastern New Mexico University campus.
