James Brown (guitarist)
James Adrian Brown (born 19 June 1984 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England) is a musician, solo electronic artist, composer and former guitarist and songwriter with the English alternative rock band Pulled Apart by Horses. He has been described as an icon in the making, throwing himself around the stage with a blatant disregard to health and safety. Solo electronic project Brown embarked upon creating electronic compositions during the nationwide lockdown of the UK brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020. It was stated this was a way to combat his ongoing mental health issues and to continue creating music. It wasn't until a year later in October 2021 that the first of these recordings were heard and released by Leeds, West Yorkshire based electronic/ambient record label Analog Horizons. Leeds
Leeds () is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds district in West Yorkshire, England. It is built around the River Aire and is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. Wild Beasts were an English indie rock band, formed in 2002 in Kendal. Annie Mac
Annie Mac (born 18 July 1978), is an Irish DJ, broadcaster and writer. She hosted a variety of shows on BBC Radio 1, including BBC Switch and ''Future Sounds''. She also DJed in various locations, including hosting her AMP (Annie Mac Presents) Lost and Found venues in places like Ibiza. Personal life Annie Mac was born in Dublin, Ireland on 18 July 1978. After attending Wesley College in Dublin, she studied English literature at Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland. Annie lives in Queen's Park, London. She has a son (born May 2013) with her husband DJ Toddla T. She gave birth to her second child on 6 January 2017. While she was on maternity leave her radio show was presented by MistaJam and then Mac returned to the station on 12 June 2017. ''Tough Love'' is the second album from the Leeds four piece ''Pulled Apart by Horses''. It was recorded at Monnow Valley Studio in South Wales. It was released on 20 January 2012. In an interview with NME, Bassist Rob Lee explained that "This album is a lot more direct, we're better musicians and songwriters now. On the first one, we weren't that good as musicians, but now we've been touring relentlessly and we've got to be better players. We made our debut ourselves and it wasn't ambitious. Monnow Valley Studio is a recording studio in Rockfield, Monmouthshire, Wales. History In the 1970s, Monnow Valley was the rehearsal facility of the famous Rockfield Studios.
