Jalil Hanoon Motar Al-Asadi ( ar, جليل حنّون مطر الأسدي; born 1952) is an Iraqi former footballer who is the president of Al-Minaa club. Sport history Jalil Hanoon played as a forward and spent the majority of his career with Al-Minaa club, He was capped Iraqi League title for Al-Minaa, winning the title of the top scorer 1978, and appeared at the World Military Cup 1977, and scored a goal in Nigeria's nets. He also played matches in Pestabola Merdeka 1977 in Malaysia. The Palestine Cup ( ar, كأس فلسطين, ''Kaʾs Filasṭīn'') was a football competition which was held between countries in the Arab world. The tournament ''de facto'' acted as the replacement for the Arab Cup during the long interruption between 1966 and 1982, it held on three occasions in Arab countries in the 1970s. South Yemen National Football Team
The South Yemen national football team ( ar, منتخب اليمن الجنوبي الوطني لكرة القدم) was the national team of South Yemen between 1965 and 1989. The team took part in the Asian Cup finals in 1976, losing 0–8 to Iran and 0–1 to Iraq. They entered their only World Cup qualification campaign, for the 1986 FIFA World Cup, and were knocked out in the first round by Bahrain. Jamil Hanoon
Jamil Hanoon ( ar, جميل حنّون , born 1 July 1942) is a coach and former international Iraqi football player, he also played for Al-Minaa. Jamil is the older brother of international player and coach Jalil Hanoon. International career Jamil Hanoon was called by Croatian coach Ljubomir Kokeza to play in the 1969 Friendship Cup in Iran. On March 7, 1969, he played his debut with Iraq against Iran in a fully international match that ended 2–1 for Iran. Managerial career In 1977 Hanoon started training with his club Al-Minaa, which he retired from, and in the Iraqi Premier League in the 1977-1978 season after former coach Faleh Hassan Wasfi failed to win the first two games and resigned. Al-Zawraa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الزوراء الرياضي) is an Iraqi sports club based in Utayfia, Karkh District (near Tigris River), Baghdad. Their football team compete in the Iraqi Premier League, the top-flight of Iraqi football. Al-Zawraa are the most decorated club in Iraq having won 14 Premier League titles, 16 Iraq FA Cups and 5 Iraqi Super Cups, all national records.
