Jaguar R5
The Jaguar R5 was a Formula One racing car used by Jaguar Racing to contest the 2004 Formula One season. The R5 was the last chassis made by Jaguar Racing, before they became Red Bull Racing in . The car was driven by Mark Webber and rookie Christian Klien and its first 2004 Formula One outing was at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona in pre-season testing. Jaguar used an updated R5B chassis for two races. Klien gave the B spec chassis its debut in China and Webber used it in Brazil. The R5B had originally been taken to the Italian Grand Prix but was not used. Webber drove the RB5 in Japan during Friday practice, but due to the lack of running have to revert to the old car for the race. The BOSS GP Series is a motor racing series in Europe. The category originated in 1995 as the BOSS Formula series and evolved into the EuroBOSS Series. BOSS is an acronym that stands for ''Big Open Single Seaters''. It was founded by former team owner Frank Williams and automotive engineer Patrick Head. The 2004 Belgian Grand Prix (formally the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix 2004) was a Formula One motor race held on 29 August 2004, at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, near the village of Francorchamps, Wallonia, Belgium. The 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix (officially the Formula 1 Grande Prêmio do Brasil 2004) was a Formula One motor race held on 24 October 2004 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace. The 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 58th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It was the 55th FIA Formula One World Championship, and was contested over eighteen races from 7 March to 24 October 2004. The championship was dominated by Michael Schumacher and Ferrari, with Schumacher winning the Drivers' Championship for the seventh and last time.
