''Jacqueline'' is a 1959 West German comedy film directed by Wolfgang Liebeneiner and starring Johanna von Koczian, Walther Reyer and Götz George. George won a German Film Award for best newcomer for his performance.Bock & Bergfelder p.152 It was shot at the Tempelhof Studios and on location in Munich and Vienna. Wolfgang Liebeneiner
Wolfgang Georg Louis Liebeneiner (6 October 1905 – 28 November 1987) was a German actor, film director and theatre director. Beginnings He was born in Liebau in Prussian Silesia. In 1928, he was taught by Otto Falckenberg, the director of the Munich Kammerspiele, in acting and directing. Nazi era In 1936, Liebeneiner became a member of the Prussian State Theater () in Berlin and in 1938, he became artistic director of the German Film Academy Babelsberg (). In 1941, he directed the film ''Ich klage an'' (''I accuse'') in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. The film was about voluntary euthanasia of a woman suffering from multiple sclerosis, but was intended to support the T4 euthanasia program. He received a doctorate in the years from 1942 to 1945 while working for Universum Film AG, the largest German film studio at that time. Horst Tappert (26 May 1923 – 13 December 2008) was a German film and television actor best known for the role of Inspector Stephan Derrick in the television drama ''Derrick''. Biography Horst Tappert was born on 26 May 1923 in Elberfeld (now Wuppertal), Germany. His father, Julius Tappert (1892–1957), was a civil servant; his mother was Ewaldine Röll Tappert (1892–1981). Following high school and at the age of 17, Tappert was drafted into the German Army during World War II. Aged 19, he was, according to his widow against his will, transferred from the Army to the ''Waffen-SS'', where the author of the Derrick series, Herbert Reinecker, had also served. Initially a member of a reserve antiaircraft unit in Arolsen, he was listed as a grenadier with the 3rd SS Division Totenkopf in March 1943. Gretl Schörg (17 January 1914 – 4 January 2006) was an Austrian operatic soprano and actress. She was particularly known for her performances in operettas. Her signature roles included Dodo in ''Wedding Night in Paradise'', Josepha Vogelhuber in ''The White Horse Inn'', Juliette in '' Der Graf von Luxemburg'', Julischka in '' Maske in Blau'', Laura in ''Der Bettelstudent'', and Pepi in '' Wiener Blut''.
