''Jaago'' ( bn, জাগো) is a 2010 Bangladeshi sports drama film written and directed by Khijir Hayat Khan. The film features Ferdous and Bindu in lead roles and with supporting Arifin Shuvoo, Sharlin Farzana, Tariq Anam Khan, Rawnak Hasan, FS Nayeem and many more. It claims to be the first Bangladeshi film based entirely on football or any other sports. The story of ''Jaago'' is said to be inspired by the Shadhin Bangla football team, who raised funds during the Liberation War (1971) through charity matches and lifted the morale of the freedom fighters. Plot Every year, Comilla XI plays friendly football match against India's Tripura XI. But unfortunately they lost every match over the years. But this year they had a strong team, led by Shamim (Ferdous Ahmed) who is very passionate about football. He, along with local boys runs a football academy named Azad Boys. Ferdous Ahmed
Ferdous Ahmed (born 7 June 1974), known mononymously as Ferdous, is a Bangladeshi film actor and producer. He acts in Bangladesh and Indian Bengali films. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor 5 times for his roles in the films ''Hothat Brishti'' (1998), ''Gangajatra'' (2009), ''Kusum Kusum Prem'' (2011), ''Ek Cup Cha'' (2014) and '' Putro'' (2018). Career Actor Ahmed was introduced in the film industry by choreographer Amir Hossain Babu. He debuted in the film ''Hothat Brishti'' (1998), directed by Basu Chatterjee. Dilshad Nahar Kona (born 15 April 1980; known as Kona) is a Bangladeshi singer. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her song ''"Tui Ki Amar Hobi Re"'' in the film ''Bishwoshundori'' (2020). Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, known professionally as Arnob, is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, musician, painter, filmmaker, animator and producer.
