''JK Revolution'' is the ninth studio album by Serbian singer Jelena Karleuša. Recorded between June and December 2007, it was released on February 7, 2008, through City Records. The album was entirely arranged and produced by Marko Peruničić and Nebojša Arežina from Atelje Trag. The lyrics are written by Marina Tucaković with the assistance from Ljiljana Jorgovanović. With shipments of 280,000 copies, ''JK Revolution'' is commercially the most successful album by Jelena Karleuša to date, as well as one of the highest-selling albums in Serbia in 21 century. Jelena Karleuša ( sr-cyr, Јелена Карлеуша; born 17 August 1978) is a Serbian singer and media personality. Born and raised in Belgrade, she rose to prominence upon the release of her debut album ''Ogledalce'' in 1995, which was succeeded by five more records released in quick succession to moderate success. In 2002, Karleuša achieved further acclaim by collaborating with Greek label Heaven Music on the album '' Samo za tvoje oči''. Maryem Tollar (born 1968 in Cairo, Egypt) is a Toronto-based singer who primarily sings Arabic songs. She played with her own band called Mernie!. Born in Cairo, Maryem went to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with her parents when she was one year old in 1969. Four years later, her father began working in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, so her family moved back to the Middle East and stayed there until she graduated from The American University in Cairo. Mayya (song)
"Mayya" is a popular Hindi song from the 2007 Hindi film ''Guru''. It was composed by A. R. Rahman, performed by Maryem Toller, Chinmayee, Keerthi Sagathia and written by Gulzar. Apart from the film's soundtrack, it also appeared in the compilation album, ''A. R. Rahman – A World of Music'' released in 2009. The song was also released in Tamil and Telugu. Development Rahman personally trained Egyptian singer Maryem Tollar to sing "Mayya", a song which Rahman wrote while on Hajj in Makkah. After he heard a man near a river who was continually repeating "moya moya moya" (water in Arabic), he told Gulzar to incorporate the word into the tune he had created while touring in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. "Smack My Bitch Up" is a song by English rave group The Prodigy. It was released in November 1997 as the third and final single from their third album, ''The Fat of the Land'' (1997). In 2013, ''Mixmag'' readers voted it the third greatest dance track of all time. The song caused considerable controversy because of its suggestive title and explicit music video, which depicted scenes of drunken and drug-fuelled sexual assault and violence.
