JESC
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest (often shortened to JESC, Junior Eurovision or Junior EuroSong) is an international song competition which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) annually since 2003. It is held in a different European city each year, however the same city can host the contest more than once. The competition has many similarities to the Eurovision Song Contest from which its name is taken. Each participating broadcaster sends an act, the members of which are aged 9 to 14 on the day of the contest, and an original song lasting three minutes at most to compete against the other participating entries. Each entry represents the country served by the participating broadcaster. Viewers from all around the world are invited to vote for their favourite performances by online voting, and a national jury from each participating country also vote. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 2003. This page is a list of people who have acted as presenters of the contest. Since the contest began in 2003, it usually has two presenters. However, in 2022 there were four, in 2009, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 there were three presenters, while in 2014 and 2015 it was hosted by just one presenter. Kim-Lian van der Meij (Netherlands), Timur Miroshnychenko (Ukraine) and Ida Nowakowska (Poland) have all hosted the contest twice. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was the 18th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The contest took place on 29 November 2020, and was held in Warsaw, Poland, following the country's victory at the contest with the song "Superhero" by Viki Gabor. This was the first time the contest was held in the same country for two consecutive years. Twelve countries participated in the contest, having the smallest number of participants since the contest (with some countries pointing the COVID-19 pandemic situation and travel restrictions as the reason of their withdrawal), with participating for the first time. List Of Junior Eurovision Song Contest Host Cities
18 venues in 14 countries have hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, an annual song competition for children, at least once since its creation in 2003. The first edition took place in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. Following the hosting problems for the 2004 edition, the location of the subsequent contests were appointed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), following a bidding process with broadcasters from the participating countries. Belgium was therefore the first country to successfully bid for the rights to host the contest in 2005. Poland became the first country to host two contests in a row (in 2019 and in 2020, respectively). MGP Nordic (''Melodi Grand Prix Nordic'') was a Scandinavian song contest for children aged 8 to 15, organized by DR, NRK, SVT and Yle through Yle Fem. It originated as a 2000 spin-off of Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest national final known as '' De unges Melodi Grand Prix'', but expanded to become MGP Nordic in 2002 with the addition of Norway and Sweden.
