JD Motorsports
JD Motorsports, is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It is owned and operated by Johnny Davis. It currently fields two Chevrolet Camaro SS teams: The No. 4 for Bayley Currey and the No. 6 for Brennan Poole, as well as the No. 0 part-time. The team purchases engines from Clements Racing Engines. Jeremy Clements drove for JD Motorsports in the past. Johnny Davis has been affiliated with NASCAR competition for over 27 years, serving as a crew member, fabricator, and then crew chief for several Winston Cup and Busch Series teams. Davis' first foray into team ownership was with competition Go-Karts in the 1990s. Nashville Superspeedway
Nashville Superspeedway is a motor racing complex located in Gladeville, Tennessee, United States (though the track has a Lebanon postal address), about southeast of Nashville. The track was built in 2001 and is currently hosting the Ally 400, a NASCAR Cup Series regular season event, the Tennessee Lottery 250, and the Rackley Roofing 200. It is a concrete oval track 1 miles (2.145 km) long. Nashville Superspeedway is owned by Speedway Motorsports, which acquired the track’s previous owner Dover Motorsports in December 2021. Nashville Superspeedway is the longest concrete oval in NASCAR. Current permanent seating capacity is approximately 25,000, but will reach up to 38,000 for the NASCAR Cup Series event in 2021. Tina Gordon
Tina Gordon (born March 14, 1969) is an American former stock car racing driver and spokesperson for the Sticks 'N' Stuff furniture chain. She is related to neither NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon nor Robby Gordon. After being released from her ride at Jay Robinson Racing in 2005 she retired from racing. Racing career Local Gordon competed in barrel racing, rodeos, and horse shows. Gordon began racing cars in her husband Gary's short track stock car in 1995-1996 at the Green Valley Speedway. She won all six events that she entered. They bought a hobby stock car and competed at Thunder Valley Speedway during 1997. In her rookie season, she finished tenth in points with 11 top-ten finished in 18 races. She sold her insurance agency and began racing full-time in 1998, first at Green Valley then at Birmingham International Raceway. Jason Patrick Schuler (born February 24, 1972) is an American former stock car racing driver. He competed in the NASCAR Busch Series from 2000 to 2004. He is currently building cars for JJ Fabrication, Inc. (formerly Pathfinder Chassis), the company he owns and operates along with Joe Wood in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Racing career Schuler made his first starts in the Busch Series in 2000 when fellow Cambridge native and childhood friend Matt Kenseth, a full-time Cup Series driver, offered him a ride for twelve races in the No. 17 Visine Chevy for Reiser Enterprises that Kenseth was driving part-time. His best finish on the year was 14th at both Gateway (where he led two laps) and at New Hampshire. Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly known Atlanta International Raceway from 1960 to 1990) is a 1.54-mile entertainment facility in Hampton, Georgia, United States, 20 miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. It has annually hosted NASCAR Cup Series stock car races since its inauguration in 1960. The venue was bought by Speedway Motorsports in 1990. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. In 1997, to standardize the track with Speedway Motorsports' other two intermediate ovals, the entire track was almost completely rebuilt. Gus Wasson
Gus Wasson (born March 28, 1974) is an American former stock car racing driver. Gus is the son of Paul and Kathy Wasson. He competed part-time in NASCAR's Busch Series from 1998–2004. Busch Series Career Wasson made his Busch Series debut in 1998, making a one-off start at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the #49 Hoiles Motorsports Chevy. Wasson qualified 17th and despite spinning out early on the 73rd lap, he stayed in that vicinity for the entire race, and he ended the race with an 18th-place finish. Wasson qualified for five races in 1999. Running the #49 car again, Wasson went out again at Atlanta and did in his season debut as he had in his series debut: finish a solid 18th. Jason Alan White (born June 5, 1979) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage. Racing career Early career White began racing go-karts when he was eleven, and has been racing part-time since. Before moving to Busch Series, White dominated the Virginia go-kart circuit. In a five-year stretch, Jason won six Virginia state titles and finished in the World Karting Association top-ten for three different classes of vehicles. Xfinity Series White made his first starts in 1999, running the No. 28 for Larry Lockamy. He started 28th and finished 26th in a solid debut at IRP. He was then 43rd after an early crash at Bristol.
