Jülide Gülizar
Jülide Gülizar (''née'' Göksan; 1929 – 14 March 2011) was a Turkish anchorwoman and journalist. She was one of Turkey's first television anchors, as well as the first anchorwomen on the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT). Gülizar was born in Adana, Turkey, in 1929. She graduated from Ankara University, Law School. Gülizar began her broadcasting career on TRT radio in Ankara, Turkey, in 1956. She went on to become the first anchorwoman to appear on television for TRT. She was a strong proponent of the use of standard Turkish language, Turkish in radio and television. She retired from TRT in 1982, but continued to work as a news presenter and teacher at other media organizations. Gülizar continued to produce and host her own television program until shortly before her death. Adana
Adana (; ; ) is a major city in southern Turkey. It is situated on the Seyhan River, inland from the Mediterranean Sea. The administrative seat of Adana Province, Adana province, it has a population of 2.26 million. Turkish women writers refers to Turkish women contributors to Turkish literature. The area is parallel to Women's writing in English. Pioneers During the Ottoman era, there were only a few woman poets and novelists. Professor Nazan Bekiroğlu gives the priority to two woman poets; Zeynep Hatun and Mihri Hatun who lived in the 15th century. But probably the best known woman poet was Fitnat Hanım of the 18th century. The first Ottoman novelists were Zafer Hanım who was the first author of a novel published in 1877 and Fatma Aliye who is considered by many as the first Turkish female novelist. ''Habertürk'' (literally: "News Turkish"), abbreviated as ''HT'', was a high-circulation Turkish newspaper. It was established on March 1, 2009 by Ciner Media Group, drawing on the brand of Ciner's Habertürk TV. It ceased publication on 5 July, 2018. The newspaper sold on its first day of publication 360,000 copies. At 10 hours local time, the first issue was outsold. The next day's circulation totaled to 202,000. The newspaper ranked that day fifth following the dailies ''Hürriyet'' (448,296), ''Sabah'' (420,148), '' Milliyet'' (204,477) and ''Vatan'' (204,154). At its first publishing anniversary in 2010, the newspaper sold 380,000 copies, breaking its own record. The Ankara University, Law School ( tr, Ankara Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi formerly known ''Ankara Adliye Hukuk Mektebi'') is a faculty for law of the Ankara University in Turkey. History Ankara University, Law School, was founded as a part of a legal revolution in Turkey by the endeavors of Mahmut Esat Bozkurt. The school was opened by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, on November 5, 1925. It was the first modern university-level institution of the newly founded Republic.
