Júlio César dos Santos, or simply Júlio Santos (born December 12, 1981 in Osasco), is a Brazilian central defender. He currently plays for Novo Hamburgo. Osasco () is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in São Paulo State, Brazil, located in the Greater São Paulo and ranking 5th in population among São Paulo municipalities. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, IBGE 2015, Osasco currently has the 9th highest gross domestic product in Brazil, and the 2nd largest in the State of São Paulo. Brazil Olympic Football Team
The Brazil Olympic football team (also known as Brazil under-23, Brazil U23) represents Brazil in international football competitions during Olympic Games and Pan American Games. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except three overage players. The team is controlled by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Brazil U23 is one of the most successful teams in the Olympic football tournament, having won it twice (2016 and 2020). The Olympic football tournament was the last international competition in football organized by FIFA which Brazil had never won until they won at home in 2016.
